how do use both? do you mix it together? And which is supposed to be a sealant?
I think the balm and the burdock together is a little heavy for my hair,i was wondering if i could apply a lighter leave in, but i am not sure which should be the sealant...

how are u guys using these products.???

thanks in advance

I don't use the Burdock, I use the Amla & Olive Heavy cream. I have thick coarse 4a/b hair. When I use the Heavy Cream with the Balm, I lightly moisturize the strands with the Heavy cream, then seal the ends (again, lightly) with the balm. I use to use Castor oil to seal the ends but LOVE the Balm better.

The Balm should be the sealant and if you try it again, go a little lighter.

Also, put this question to Qhem herself in the Vendor Forum. You'll see the thread Qhemet Biologics. She'll see it and answer it. Actually you may find your answer, because I think someone may have asked something like that. Good luck!

I have fine strands. For a few months I used both the combo of the Heavy Cream and the Balm and then I noticed I was losing too many hairs in my comb and when I would twist even just using my hands. Then I switched and began using the Burdock and Balm and the same result. For my hair personally creamy products don't work. I just use the Balm with my spray mist and it works fine for me. I suggest that you can use the Burdock and a light oil. Or use a lighter moisturiser and the balm. Again I use the balm alone.

Great post. I ordered the balm and didn't know what to do with it (I also have the burdock and amla heavy cream).

i noticed the same thing too....what did you do with the burdock cream? it moisturizes very well too but what's the point when you are losing hair? do u use your spray mist and seal with the balm?

I was so devoted to that product. I plan to keep it and maybe use it to smooth my edges. Or I may give it away. Or I may get some jojoba oil and oil it down.

I use the burdock only on wet or damp hair and then seal with whatever is near. Hair dries nice and soft. Never tried the balm- debating on purchasing

I’m currently transitioning to natural and use Qhemet Biologics’s Olive & Honey Hydrating Balm and Qhemet Biologics’s Burdock Root Butter Cream simultaneously; The moisturising combination of the Qhemet Biologics product’s works wonderfully for my hair; it feel’s soo soft and hydrated all day :cloud9:. I mix a little of the Burdock Root cream with the Olive & honey in my palms, rub together and apply. Once absorbed, I may apply more Olive & honey if needed. Lastly, I seal with a mixture of black Jamaican castor thinned with a little avocado oil. This process is heavenly for my hair :cloud9:
