I don't add anything to my deep conditioners. I'll sometimes put olive oil on top of my hair after applying the conditioner all over.

Sometimes I'll add (not all at once)

Wheat germ oil - always
Camellia Oil, coconut oil, olive oil, msm powder, silk amino acids, honeyquat

Coconut Oil, EVOO, Amla Plus, Jasmine Oil, Castor Oil,, not all at the same time. Coconut is my fave in a DC

EVOO and EVCO, sometimes JBCO for softness. I've also added Silk Amino Acids or Porosity Control with good results, but I'm not consistant with it

i just joined lhcf today!!!! after lurking for two years!!! i just wanted to thank you ladies for all the help over the years. i went from shoulder lenght hair to mid back back hair!!!!!

i dont ad anything to mine. i use silicon mix. its great. hi ladies.

Heya Adora!!!!

I'm trying to get some information on Silicon Mix.....are you relaxed? What if anything does it do for your relaxed vs your new growth? What brand? Where did you purchase it?

Your help is appreciated!

Nothing.......:ohwell:

I make sure before I Purchase, that the Conditioner should have the Ability to stand on it's own.:look:

If I do any pre-treating, such as a Hot Oil Treatment, I'll use EVOO, EVCO, Wheat Germ, Jojoba etc.

But the Conditioners I buy, better be able to Hold Their Own, or they won't be Repurchased.

I add Honey and Evoo to my conditioners.
If I want shiney hair I add Alfaparf Essential Shine Oil to my conditioners.

Yes, ITA w/Terri! For me, a quality deep conditioner does not need any additional oils. Although a pinch of SAAs or panthenol wouldn't hurt...:yep:
