Do you co-wash? If so, how often and with what type of conditioner?

I am about 5 weeks post and it is getting rough! :look:

I cowash one or twice a week with no problems. I'm 7 weeks post now.
Conditioners I use are:

Mizani Moisturefuse-Wouldnt make it without this stuff
KeraCare Hum- Also use this as my leave in most time
AOHSR- Sometimes

I cowash two times a week. I rotate the following conditioners:

Suave Naturals Tropical Coconut
Herbal Essences Hydralicious Reconditioning Conditioner
Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine

ETA: I'm 8 weeks post as of today, so cowashing is a must!

No I don't I am 9wks post but I wear a lot of protective styles so I don't have to deal with my new growth that much only on wash days.

So, what do you do with your edges? My edges look like little cheerios :ohwell:
:lachen::lachen::lachen:

I'm ionohowmanyweeks post and when my edges look like foods and spiderwebs, I apply Elasta QP Mango Butter, brush them back and tie down with a scarf.

I don't cowash

I co-wash with WEN every 3 days during spring/summer, and once a week in fall/winter because it gets cold in NY and I airdry

Yes, 2-3 times a week with Wen Fig. I might be reducing this to once a week because I've started using Mizani Thermasmooth and I might wear my hair straight more often.

You and me both! I tried co-washing, and hated it! So, like you, I wash and DC two times per week - once with protein, once with moisture ! I wear my hair in a bun daily, so I don't have to deal with my "currently-seven-weeks-post-and-over-one-inch-already" new growth:lachen:

I am texturized and I cowash twice a week. Aussie Moist 3 min miracle, the AM conditioner, and WEN fig are in my rotation. I cowash after every work out in the summer, which can be up to 4x a week.

Ok, I just co-washed with Hello Hydration, applied my Joico Daily Care mosturizer, EVOO and sealed my ends with Poranges mix and wow

I currently have my hair tied down with a scarf. I think that co-washing is a keeper!:yep:

I co-wash twice a week.

It's a MUST when I get past 5 weeks post (I relax every 10 weeks, but now stretching to 12 weeks). It tames my NG and keeps my hair soft and manageable. My hair tends to grow on average at a rate of about 1/2 inch a month.

My product rotation:
Hair One Jojoba
HE LTR
HE Hello Hydration

I condition wash 2 times a week with,

Aussie Moist
Aussie 3min deep conditioner
Wen Fig
Mane & Tail

I co-wash, exclusively, once a week, with VO5 or Suave conditioner. The only time I use shampoo is when I feel product buildup on my hair. I'm 4b, texlaxed and strecth my touchups to every 3 months.

I am 14 weks post and I co-wash 1x-2x per week. I'm currently using Aussie Moist which I looooooooove. I was using GF Instant Melting Conditioner-Moisture Works but I get more bang for my buck with Aussie Moist.

I mostly co-wash with any conditioner that's around...cheapies...some Suave...I like Creme of Nature for the tangles and whatever else I have or buy to try out. Shampoo is so drying.

I co-wash 1-5 times a week depending how far into my stretch I am and how many times I go to the gym in a week. If I'm anywhere past 10 weeks I'll co-wash a whole lot. I usually use Trader Joe's Nourish Spa Balancing Moisture, V05 Strawberries & Cream, or Hair One Olive Oil.

I tried it a couple times. It's not in my regimen. I basically do it when I think my hair is drier than it should be. I use GVP Conditioning Balm.

My scalp hates Co-washing!!! I get so much build up every time I try to do this, no matter the conditioner I use :nono::nono:...No Co-Washing for this 4b....prepoo+poo+DC w/heat 1xper week=

:lachen::lachen::lachen:, girl Elasta QP glaze, water and scarf are my bestfriend. I apply some Elasta QP glaze spritz with some water, brush and tie down until I hit the door otherwise my edges look like taco meat.

I'm 19 wks post and I'm not trying to wet this jungle every day. No way no how. So, I don't co-wash either. I do regular washes on Wed and Sat. Lately it has been on Wed and Fri do to swim lessons. A few times after swim lessons i only co-washed because I did not want to use this swimmers poo I have. I always wet my hair, apply a cond and swim cap so I just did not feel like I needed to poo.

Hey taz, I co-wash once a week with hair one...I use to use WEN, but now Im exclusively using hair one olive oil (my hair loves it)!! This stuff really cleanses and detangles the hair like nobody's business. Also it works great along with Joico products!!! :)

Aww, lawd!! You had to go there and mention Joico, Charmtreese :spinning:.

Off to the BSS ...

My last relaxer was Sept 9th and I co-wash every 3-4 days. My favorites are:
Suave Humectress Condish
Motions Detangling Condish
HE LTR

*Great thread OP*

I'll be 13 weeks post Friday...I pre-poo w/ Suave Tropical Coconut for 2 hrs, then co-wash with Aussie Moist...3-4x a week

This is definitely making stretching easy :yep:
