Ive colored twice in the last year, so ignore the 50 million colors in my hair lol

I'm challenging myself to no coloring in 2010.

But yay me!! Made me feel good actually seeing pics

ETA: this is my hair shrunken, sorry lol

Muchas Gracias amigas!! When you actually see it for real for real, it inspires you to stop the cuts and let it grow as far as it can. When I had locs, I reached WL in 5 years, so I know my hair grows. Retaining the length with loose hair (and getting over my natural dislike for long hair lol) is another issue.

Yep it has grown

just wondering though, if you have a natural dislike for long hair then why grow it long-if it's not something you like or want?

Because I like to challenge myself to step outside of my comfort zone in different aspects of my life. I've gone through a lot of personal issues recently and my go-to response is to cut my hair. Instead, I'm making a recent event as the start of doing things different. For me, growing my hair would be a measurement of that progress as well.

I said, though, in the thread about what will you do when your hair is long, that I'd probably cut it and start all over again lol

oh ok

so one of your emotional responses is to cut? I can relate, somehow we do different things with our hair by whats going on our lives

Just asked cause I wasnt understanding, neither here nor there though, right? you do what your comfortable with with your hair , for your own reasons:yep:

CONGRATS! It looks great. I'm so used to seeing progress pics with hair straightened, so it's it was a welcomed surprise to see your hair in it's natural state.

Personally, all of my length goals are going to be based on my hair being in it's natural state, so this makes me especially happy! HHG!

Your hair is beautiful! And it looks so strong! I only hope my growth turns out as well as yours.
