MOROCCAN OIL....what's the hype ladies?

For me it is a moisturizing oil that DOESN't leave my hair feeling oily or greasy. It also makes it shiny.

i really, really love the deep conditioner, it's one of my favorites, and smells heavenly, but i dont use anything else from the line. You are talking about the line, right? I use the intense hydrating mask with argan oil enriched

I use argan oil and I find it very moisturising as it seems to penetrate the cuticle. It is very light and does not just sit on top of the hair. I did a flat iron the other day and it did not weigh my hair down. It is expensive but worth it. I love it so much that my I have to force myself to use up my other oils. Morracan oil has argan oil in it.

I have both Argan & a Couple of Vials of Morrocan Gold Morrocan Oil, which I will use for Flat Ironing as well.
I've tried the Argan and IA: It is very light, it absorbs quickly and it makes your hair weightless with shine.
I expect the Morrocan Gold Morrocan Oil to do the same thing.
Expensive but worth it.

I think I tried the actual oil at the salon a while back and it didnt do anything for me. I was expecting some big difference but I didnt notice any change. That was the only product I tried though.

I haven't bought the 100% Argan oil, but I did purchase an Argan oil from sally's for $8. And I love it!!! The smell is exotic, like everyone else it's doesn't weigh down the hair. I use it on freshly washed hair and when it dries it dries silky, soft and bouncy. On the second day i'll add another oil to keep it moist like coconut, jojoba or Avacado oil. And it's becoming a winter staple...and i'm addicted to the smell

Argan oil is the key ingredient, I like Sexy Hair's product (can't think of the actual name right now and I'm too lazy to go look at the bottle...) that has argan oil in it and it's actually a lot cheaper. Plus I've been using Josie Maran's Argan oil stick (it's actually a cosmetic product not a hair product) to tame flyaways and around my edges, great stuff.

Coconut oil and Avocado oils does penetrate the hair shaft and moisturizes the hair. There are a few others that actually moisturize too.

Alright so I found the products in a salon, and I agree the deep conditioner smells nice. I did notice that their products have alcohol, all except the oil. I tried the oil on my hands just to feel the texture and it feels....OK....not sure it's worth $37 dollars though. I'm still not convinced. Princess, if you could provide some details about your hair type and how this d.c. works for you it would be appreciated. I'm just a bit weary because I've tried hair masks and the like before (i.e. phyto-something, and Ojon) and they just left my hair either dry or too waxy/oily.

I got a flyer yesterday for 20% off everything and I saw that they had the Argan oil (can't remember the brand) in a 3.4 oz. bottle for 8 bucks...can't beat that with a bat.

I used the same product on my hair, as well as their actual oil and I have to say...my hair felt incredibly supple and lush. Shocked the heck out of me.
Granted, I used this with a few other products, as well...but when I used those other products on their own, I do not have the same result AT ALL. I find Moroccan Oil extremely effective, but I'm opposed to buying more of it due to ethical reasons (because of where it's manufactured).

I have the oil and intense hydrating mask and both are really good. The oil feels thick and heavy but leaves your hair ungreasy and shiny and smooth. The mask is moisturizing--the most moisturizing I've ever used?? No. But it's still good, and it's supposed to help strengthen the hair a bit as well.
I don't really use it anymore because I'm trying a new serum by Joico that's setting my heart aflutter
It has argan oil, Mongongo Oil, Kukui Seed Oil, etc., helps to strengthen the hair and is light.
Moroccan Oil is good, but pricey, so it's up to you as to whether you wanna splurge for that.

Oh really....I see it's made in Isreal. OK....but where does the ethics come in? Are little children bottling the product for 1 cent a day? Please share what you know. It's important for us to be responsible when buying products. I just threw away a liter of Infusium 23. I gave up all P&G products because of their ties with freemasonry, the church of satan etc.

I have the Sally Argan oil and the 100% argan oil. I like Sally's better. Their mixture makes my hair feel really nice and shiny. The 100% oil doesn't seem to feel as good as Sally's. When I run out, I'll probably stick to the Sally's version.

I added a cap full of argan oil to my Bigen Oriental Black dye because not only does the oil penetrate, Bigen is often known to dry out hair. I sat under my new steamer for about 45 minutes and my hair is already shiny and beautifully black. I'm in love with argan oil, which is the same as Moroccan oil, as I understand it.

Where do yo buy yours SP? My hair was so shiny my roommate was like, your hair is still wet. I guess it was so shiny, it gave it this wet look. Next time I'll add it to my deep conditioner.

I'm not for certain if it necessarily moisturizes as much as it penetrates. In other words, it's probably the best sealant to use because it helps moisturizers to penetrate the hair. I've been told to add the oil to conditioners, dyes, to help the process. This oil also makes my hair incredibly shiny and conditioned.

But when I used I realized that my hair didn't need anything else, I was shocked Usually with oils I would use Shea butter then seal with an oil, but I haven't even touched my shea butter mix since I bought this stuff. Now I do a deep con and then oil it up and it doesn't have my hair feeling oily. The name is: One N Only Argan Oil, Oil Treatment. I purchased it at Sally's... there are cones in it but the results are the best i've had in a store bought product in a long time.
