My hair is about her same length now and I like the part on her but don't know if I want to do that. What do you think? I think it makes it look a little more feminine but I need your opinions!

I do like it because i know it's a parting. But then again it does just look like an unneeded line. Maybe if it was like a pattern like a squiggle or a spiral i'd like it more.

I don't think she needs it, but at the same time it's interesting, it focuses the eyes on it.

Hmmm, I was about to say "No" but that was a knee jerk. I looked more carefully, and actually, I quite like it. The "no" came the fact that it reminds me of my F.O.B. relatives (Fresh Off the Boat) overseas (with her light skin and curly hair, she looks like them too). As a kid raised in America, we used to make fun of "FOB style." But it's actually quite flattering and pretty and creates visual interest above the eyes.

I vote "Yes."

I like it! To me, it looks sophisticated but I like parts anyway. After I BC'd mine was a tad longer. A nice touch/compliment would be large diamond studs.

I love it, love the part love the hair love the look. She's never looked better, it makes her soooo distinct and striking she's finally found her own stride. I really hope she sticks to this because she looks stunning, it really emphasizes her features. it would look just as good without it too.

What I love about short hair on beautiful women is it brings the attention to your face and your body it puts the focus on you, theres something to be said for that because once in a while I'll encounter men whom all they can see is my hair and its length:ohwell:

Honestly, I dont think she ever needs to grow her hair out because this look compliments her so nicely.

LOL, I take it you're countin' yourself amongst the beautiful folk? Just joking you, you are!

And I compeletely agree--a conventionally beautiful face (i.e. the type that makes it into magazines and fits in with the masses' standards for beauty) and head are brought into greater focus and put on best display withou hair. Sinead O'Connor looked very good shaven for that reason, IMO; I think her face is very pretty.

Trouble is when you have a face that is quirky and non-cookie cutter and people say "you can't pull off short hair." I have overheard many people saying this to women with some of the most head-turning, unusual, non-conforming features.

I don't like the part. She has a very nice color in it already thats good enough

I LOVE the part and I love every single pic in that spread. Damn a crop does her good.

OP are you considering a part with clippers? I think her part is combmade. (like homemade :lachen: corny but clever, no?)

I thought it was clipped but I would much prefer combmade.:lachen:

You don't see too many TWA's with a part to the side so I voted yes, only because I feel its unique

It also reminds me of when my son was little and I used to part his hair to the side LOL He'd run if I even attempted to do that now. I'm sure that as it grows out she'll do other things to it. The only way I can do a part and make it stay down is if I applied gel.

you know after looking at those honey mag photos, i do think it is done with a comb. you can see that each side of hair is going in the opposite direction.

heck, i think i might try it out. it's temporary, like a faux bob!

I like it. I think the part sets her apart from others with TWA.

it's really cute. i'd do the same if i had a TWA.

No...sorry it reminds me of Ducky from The Five Heartbeats!!!!!!!

I agree with you Ms. A.Sunshine.... Nope I don't like it.... looking at it just gives me flashbacks of when the men used to wear their hair like that back in the day.... :nono::nono::nono:

Yes, I like it. It works for her and as long as she wears it with confidence..."go girl!"

I don't mean to compare siblings but OMG she totally outshone her sister in those pictures:

Everything from the hair to the makeup to the outfit to the shoes was just so fresh and chic.
