Errm, never heard of it. It sounds like a low budget children's book lol

ETA: The link doesn't work.

*sigh* The products look yummy but I am not spending $15+ for no shampoo and conditioner, that's crack prices.

yea i wouldnt get the shampoo no matter how good it is. i really just want the extra butter and the leave in styler but i may just start out with one product, see how i like it and then move on to the next.

$22 for 8 oz. though? You could buy shea butter, coconut oil and all the other ingredients in bulk and have enough to last you for a good while and it will be cheaper in the long run...and I can't even blame this thought train on the recession, I was a cheap skate long before that lol.

I have read a few reviews about it. There is a thread or two mentioning it at NC but it doesn't get raves so I just ignored it.

i think there are more ingredients in it than they are listing.
i like mixing butter and oils and such but i still like to try other products.
i saw a youtube video where the girl said the extra butter was so good that she was giving up he qhemet heavy cream and jane carter twist and lock for it. now i love love love my twist and lock so if she thinks this is better......plus on price, the twist and lock is $22 for 4oz so 8oz for the same price almost seems like a deal lol.

I have been to Uncle Funky's Daughter here in Houston about a month ago to get one of their T-shirts that's repping natural hair. I got the shirt, the Extra Butter, and the Curly Magic. I did not like the hair products. :nono:

The Extra Butter was not good at all. It seemed as if the product was old imo. I was expecting for it to have a smooth texture and it didn't. You would be better off buying the ingredients separately and making this yourself if you want to try it. Plus, the shea butter is refined. :ohwell:

The Curly Magic was okay, but I wouldn't buy it again. It gave me the same effect the Ecostyler gel & Njoi Creations Herbal Styling Pudding (I LOVE these products!) gives me. :look:

I can't speak for the other products. You might like them. But as far as the Extra Butter and the Curly Magic, save your moolah for some other products you want to try. :yep:

^^See? That right there is why I can't do the buying of expensive products. I bought a bottle of detangler and hated it and didn't mind throwing it away cuz it was only $3....$3 that coulda bought me a big bottle of con from Wal-Mart, but still just $3. If I spend elevendy billion dollars on a product and my hair doesn't like it, I'm gonna be peeved as I don't know what. You would think at prices like that they would have quality stuff, more selection, and more people talking about them. If it weren't for this thread I wouldn't have even known about these products.
