How to corn row on wet hair...umm And in general :giggle: I tried a couple of times on dry hair and it was okay, but I need it to be great!

i'm thinking Thinning issues and how to overcome them, as well as tryna beef up the thickness... I've noticed the top of my head ..the hair is very thin...how it got this way is a mystery so i've been reading about using MN and tea/coffee rinses as a means to reduce shedding and promote growth.. maybe in 2010..i'll be trying these things out...

oh yeah how on earth to profect twist and twist outs.. :yep:

Edit: ^^^ yeah that spelling is JACKEd up..profect?? lawdddy, it's been a long night... i need sleep :lachen: ..wait did i spell it right?? :look:... it's almost time to get off..

Since I'll probably be waist length by 12/31/09 I need to learn how to CHILL

My journey will probably end sometime within the next few months and I'll be in maintenance mode. I need to learn how to just enjoy my hair and not fuss so much. My regimen is getting more simple and I guess I need to simplify a little more. K.I.S.S!

That's Great B. Maria! We're all Rooting For You! Glad to see you get to Goal.

Can't wait to hear about How Maintenance Differs from working towards Goal. So Very, Very Proud of You!

And all the WL's, MBL's, BSB's, BSL's, APL's, CBL's, SL's, NL's & EL's, & TWA's! Let's GROW LADIES!

I would like to learn how to cornrow my hair with extensions. I know how to cornrow, I just can't add the hair to it.

I would like to know how to do my own trims. This is iffy for me because I totally petrified of jacking up my hair. I don't want to walk around lopsided.

Right now I get my trims done at a white salon. I have my main chick and my back up chick. They are good. They never jack me up and always cut exactly what I ask and no more. I going to stick with them until I no longer have a choice and have to do my own trims. We'll see when that time comes.

I heard the dome of the hair is where you stress the most...so the thinning at the top could be due to stress.

Aww thank you so much!

I really need to learn a good detangling method.

I want to learn how to braid and flat twist.

And mostly importantly, I need to learn how to just say no to every product that makes someone else's hair, soooo soft, and soooo strong, and soooo long.

I am trying to identify prodcuts my hair likes/loves.

I also want to discover practices/products that will thicken my hair even more and lengthen it as fast as possible.

To stick to my staple products which i am still trying to identlfy

The only thing I'm missing is skill. I need to learn to flat iron, braid with added hair and flat twist.

Once I learn these things I will feel so good! Nothing else to do but wait for the length.

I need to skill up a bit in self relaxing and trimming but this won't happen by 31st December I fear.

I also want to build on my knowledge of using particular styling products to enhance the hair styles I'm trying to achieve, mousse, pastes, hair sprays etc.

rollersetting...i keep saying this, but i will NOT buy a new dryer until i learn how to do it right (and QUICKLY)!

do my own weaves...or at least be able to do them on my mom/sister

baby my ends to cut down on trims (which means more versatility in styling, esp on stretched hair)

pick a protective style and STICK TO IT...my braids/twists always come out after 2 or 3 weeks.

I need to learn how to be less heavy-handed with my products and master how to use just enough product without being wasteful.

I voted for other it's a combination of things. Basically I need to get more into DIY'ing. I want to be able to do my own trims, weaves, rollersetting definately, self relaxing(my mom does it now), and combatting dryness

I need to know that I can successfully retain my growth without having to use braids. I have been braid-free for nearly a month now but they were my crutch for too long. I suppose in December when I length check again, I will know if I've done a good job or not.

I would really really like to learn how to do the perfect braid-out.

I'm working on this too, but I find that it looks really nice when I just use Castor oil, and brain it in 1/4 - 1/2" braids. When I take it out, I separate some, and it's good. They look shiny, and pretty.

I would like to learn how to do styles on my hair. Twists, braids, anything.

I would like to have staple products. By now all I need to do is find my staple shampoo and conditioner. And although I like the deep conditioner I use, I would not mind mixing up my own.

I feel like my hair stopped growing, despite being healthy, moisturised, a lack of breakage, etc. It literally has not gotten longer. I dunno why (I assume lots of stress and lacking diet), but I want to overcome it. :ohwell:

I need to learn that I cannot massage my scalp with oil. It tangles my hair BADLY!!!

.......but i keep doing it anyway, :( :pullhair: I can't help it. :wallbash:

i'm going to try castor oil for detangling (oil rinse), and curlformers as a stsretched-ends style. i'm trying to combat KNOTS.

i have established styles for 2010:

-mostly small (not micro) braids, because of their versatility (i can wear them down , pony, bun, etc), they don't knot up when i wash&condition daily, and they require <5 mins styling daily.

- bnc, tnc, & (hopefully) curlformers between braiding

I need to figure out cornrows and flat-twists. I also hope to be able to my own sew-in one day. I need to figure out why I am having so much trouble retaining length if I am indeed having trouble retaining length.

Learn - I can't do a decent twist out to save my life.. I was almost there but back to square one again now..
