Stop it SB, I got the idea from Coffee and I decided to try it. I don't drink so I poured the rest of beer down the sink.:blush::lachen::lachen::lachen::lachen::lachen::drunk:

I'm confused b/c I know many people henna to elongate their curls, while I've heard a warm flat beer rinse can help your curls revert and spring back to life...

Have fun under there and let us know how this turns out and what results the beer + henna mix is primarily used for!

:-)

Well i rinsed the henna out and co wash 3 times my color is really nice. Now I'm sitting under the steamer again for my deep conditioner. After I finish I'll take some pictures.:grin:

Oh my, it looks like the color i have now. Let me show you.

That will be nice. How do you think it will turn out if i mixed this, and apply that with my already "red" hair.

Turned out beautifully! I just might have do this. Who would've thunk that LHCF would be responsible for my first beer purchase? :lachen:

If tell you I'll have to kill U:lachen::lachen::lachen: I used a luminizer and bought my color up 2 levels and then I hennaed.:lachen:
Aha!!! :lachen::lachen:
OK, it's all coming together now. I think I may still try the beer, though. Does it matter what kind? I think I got a Mich Ultra in the fridge...:grin:

Looks great! Actally this is something widely practiced in Jamaica where I'm from. Women will use a bottle of red stripe, pour it over the hair with some oils and do a steam. I used to do it all the time and it gave me very strong hair when I was back home and had relaxed hair.

Another method is to mix the beer with the inside of the raw aloe vera (I would blend this to a thick mixture) which we would pick from anywhere outside really and steam sometimes I even added egg to the mix. I always had very healthy, strong and long relaxed hair. I would then roller set hair to dry and wrap or pin curl the hair for the rest of the week for maintenance. Learnt those from grandma :)
