which do you recommend? i haven't DC'ed in a WHILE..and i think my hair is missing that:ohwell:..so ladies any suggestions?

When I wear my hair with no heat I absolutely love love love Wanakee Moisture Emphasis Conditioner. When I don't want to spend that much on a conditioner I go with Pantene deep conditioning mask. Another good choice is Karen's luscious locks hair mask with shikakai herb. I hope that this information helps you.

My hair loves kerastase nutridefense mask, ouidad deep treatment and l'occitane ultra rich shea butter hair cream is not bad at all....:-)

My personal favs:

-Abba Color Protect Conditioner - it's a deep conditioner and it is very moisturizing. Your hair doesn't have to be color treated to get the benefits of this treatment.
-ORS Replenishing Conditioner
-Mizani Moisturfuse

ORS Replenishing Conditioner
Creme of Nature Nourishing Conditioner (in the white bottle with the purple print-it's discontinued, but I still find it in a few BSS)

Pantene Restorative Deep Conditioner and before that I used the Pantene Hair Mask from the Relaxed and Naturals line.

I like the Silk Elements Deep Treatment.

Also - Lustrasilk Shea Butter and Mango or Aloe Vera make great bases - I usually add some oils like coconut, jojoba, and castor and then coconut milk/cream if I have it and whip them all together w a pinch of salt. :yep:

I like Aveda Damage Remedy. If I can't afford it, mix conditioner with an egg and some coconut oil and call it a day. I don't find find that Aubrey's does anything for me.

I use Shescentit's banana brulee, or jasmines shea butter cream rinse with some olive oil mixed in, or AO HSR

i was thinking about trying coconut milk mixed with some cholesterol..what does salt do?

I have over 8 months of new growth and notice that this area of my hair responds better to Aubrey Organics White Camellia, Jason Naturals Jojoba, jason Natural Sea Kelp, Joico K-Pak Intense Hydrator, Elucence Moisture Balancing Conditioners and for protein - Mills Creek Keratin and Joico K-Pak deep Penetrating Reconstructor Conditioners.

I know it is considered a cheapie conditioner by some people but my new growth loves Ausie Moist Conditioner as well as a DC.

Salt helps bind the moisture to the hair. :yep: If you do a search for 'Kiya Fizzle' you'll see lots of threads with results using salt and/or baking soda.

I almost forgot - honey is a great add-in too!
