Should I get the large bottle?

I'm going to try Silicon Mix for the first time and I think I've seen one bad/neutral review out of the dozens I've read. I live in Jamaica and I've never seen this out here so I have to consider what size to buy. I am so tempted to just get the 60 oz so I can have it for a long time if I love it but the rational side of me says to go ahead with the 8 oz. What do I do? Is it worth taking that risk?

Its hard to tell you what to get but if it was me i would start out with the small one in case you don't like it. Are you ordering off line?

Maybe you could ask for a sample on the exchange forum. There might be someone who lives near you that can send you some. So then you could decide if you want a big jar.Hth. Im sorry i can't think of anything else.

Are you ordering from the US or DR? Given the shipping costs I say go for the 16 oz, for starters. That way, you can try it several times and see how you like it over a period of time. If you love, it, you can order more w/o having to worry about running out (8 oz is quite small if you have alot of hair) and if you don't like it, you haven't lost too much in overall costs. If you get the 60 oz and hate it, you not only lost the price but the considerable shipping to JA.

I'm ordering from the US. i have short (EL), fine hair so the 8oz would last me a few applications. I going with that once, it only makes sense.

I would ask for a sample on the exchange forum as someone suggested perviously, or I would buy the small bottle. People's hair don't react the same to products...I have several stuff here that I bought after seing raves about them on the boards. They have done nothing to my hair, or sometimes my hair even hates them. So I would be cautious and try first before investing in the huge bottle.
