I never tried:
Wen
OCT/Ovation
BT
MT
Ayurvedic stuff
She scent it
Hairveda
Joico
Colorshowers
Bee Mine
Chi Silk Infusion

Is something wrong with me

I just realized that I havent tried a lot of things on the board. I'm a hair fanatic but I'm not a pj ironically. I'm kinda cheap so that may be why

I do want to try shescentit, silk infusion, and colorshowers though:yep:

I think it is really to each her own as to her hair journey and how she wishes to proceed. Your hair is doing well and that is all that counts. :yep:

I did try Ovation, I guess I didn't know what I was doing because I didn't notice anything different except my bank account was lighter.

I have never tried and Aphogee products but from what I am learning you practically need a degree in hairology to use that stuff correctly or beware.

I have settled on a more natural approach, I prefer to make my own "Hair Crack"
with natural Oils and butters.

I don't even know what colorshowers is :)

If I were you, I would bump Joico Kpak Shampoos and conditioners :love4::love4::love4: up to the top of your list. I have been missing out and my hair is thanking me. It has even topped my beloved Keracare Hydrating Moisturizing Shampoo.

You're sleeping on the Chi SI.

Eta: And Joico

Marshalls has the CHI SI for 14.99. I might get it.

 at the bolded.

I was using aphogee way before I came to the board. IMO it's VERY good if you're experiencing bad breakage but you MUST use something moisturizing before or else your hair might break because it does make the hair strong but can leave it very dry.

Colorshowers is a color rinse.

I was thinking about buying Joico moisturizing conditioner. Isn't it like $20?

I think I have the keracare moisturizing poo. I didnt care for it. Nothing beats my cream of nature:nono: I'm a ride or die chick for some CON

I don't try all the things i hear either, sometimes because i cant get them, sometimes because they're weird, and sometimes just because. I think not everything work the same for everyboby. I want to try ayurvedic stuff, but i've been lazy =(

Look at all the pushas in here!! :giggle: I wont say a word though.

Don't sleep on Joico :yep:

Nope, nothing is wrong with you. I will try some cheap items but the pricey ones I tend to avoid. I tried Sabino, MegaTek and I also tried WEN Fig but only because it was super cheap from a friend who got a couple of bottles at a huge discount.

I have BKT, but I bought the kit (enough to do my hair 8 times).

The tools are a different story though.

Wow you're good girl, REAL good. I bit the OCT hype, the BT hype, and the Bee Mine hype. My only regret is the Bee Mine, just wasn't for me. But OCT and BT lived up to it. I haven't been tempted to try all the other stuff though I was thisclose to buying MT a little while ago but decided against it.

Look at you pushin too! lol. I think I'll buy the Joico this week. I wish I could get a sample. I just dont want to spend like $25 and I dont like it.

I haven't tried Colorshowers because I am scared I will do it wrong.

Why do you think you will do it wrong? I never used it but I tried other rinses and you apply and then sit under the dryer for 15 mins. Don't be scared.

I cut my hair last month. I know when it grows back I want to try some more rinses and maybe some other stuff.

There are lots of products I've never tried because I've found my staples. There are certain products that I wouldn't mind trying but I get hesitant...if it ain't broke...

Ha! You are not alone. The only thing on your list that I've tried is the CHI SI, and that was by default. It came with a flat iron I purchased...that I returned BTW :look:.

I've tried Wen and Hairveda.
Hairveda was decent and Wen was horrendous.
I will randomly try new things but recently I have been very choosy with what to try.

There are a lot of things I haven't tried since I've been on this board. But if I tried everything I wanted, my bank account would scream bloddy murder! I can't go broke over my hair, so I try and stick with my staples.

Shescentit...:D

I was eyeing the site tonight. I want to try the seyana hair butter and the coc leave in. She's supposed to have a sale in Oct so I will wait then.

You know what I did try that was horrible? Carol Daughter's leave in. :nono: I'll never touch that mess again. It's sitting in my bathroom getting dust. Made my hair very hard and tangled. I feel bad because I got it as a gift.

There is nothing wrong with you. If you are happy with your hair and its condition there is no need for you to try anything new.
(This is coming from a person who has tried everything on that list except Wen. )

Wow I've been here for a minute too and I haven't tried any of the things on that list. :look:

Nothing wrong with you at all.

However if you are a budget diva like myself Ayurveda products are not expensive at all. They are actually very reasonable and good for the hair. It's not for everyone mind you, but it's easy on the wallet if it works for you.

:giggle: I've been here longer than all of you and I haven't tried all of the above. What's weird is I'm not anxious/curious to try them either. I'm cheap and lazy, so that might partly explain why.
