They really really help with stretching (keeping those edges tamed). And I think its a pretty, Grecian-goddess look.

Headbands and scarves are great during transition to disguise the texture difference line. Great too after you are totally natural for a different hair look. I use them to pull back my twists sometimes and to halo my fro.

I agree that they are great to help w/ stretching.When your hair isn't laying down quite right pop one of them on and viola

I absolutely LOVE headbands. Without them, I'm not sure what I would do, especially on those days when I'm not feeling the look of my hair. no pictures of myself with a headband but trust me, they are in my regular rotation.

Yes headbands and small scarfs were a life saver during my transition. I love to wear them now as well...if you have a forever 21 they have fun and trendy headbands that are cheap!!! Good luck transitioners

That's actually 2 headbands that I position that way. They're Goody Ouchless (the reallllly tiny skinny ones) and I got them from the dollar store for like $2.

My head hurts with most headbands around my ears after a while. So I usually wear scarves. I do wear the ouchless goody's one though and I wear two at a time. One thick and one thin. Not sure if I have any pics in my fotki though. Right now I'm taking a break because I'm trying to get my hair trained to curl more in the front more. I use to wear it pulled back all the time and my hair is wavy and I need it curly!

Anywhoo....I love the headband style.
