Thanks for sharing. I never understood why women SHAVE there hairline to wear a temporary wig..(I still do not get it).
 
so that the lace front will stay better b/c the adhesive has a smooth surface to adhere to.

think of putting a bandage on unshaven, lotioned or oiled legs. the adhesive won't stay well because the oils on the skin will prevent a good seal and the hairs will also prevent a good seal in addition to being pulled out when you take the bandage off.

when u wear a lacefront, you want it to look like it is growing right out of your scalp w/ a natural hairline. you achieve that by a very strong seal between the adhesive and your skin and the adhesive and the lacefront. any bubbles, loose areas etc. will cause the wig to loosen and come away from the skin/hairline.

 
People on BHM have been doing this for years. A lot do it wit a bandaid that goes all the way around your head, and the adhesive holds just fine. It hides the grids really well too.
