You sold your sabino??!!! Wow I love mine, gets my hair straight as a pin even after I try to roll it up. Are you natural or relaxed? That might make a difference.

But back to your OP can't really help you there. Have you tried John Freida frizz ease (never tried it myself) but it could help.
No, I was talking to the OPAre you talking about me? if you are, I never had a sabino anything. IDK im confused.
Yep, I sold it. I don't think I really knew how to use it or I used it once and didn't like the slightly greasy feeling it left. IDK. I'm convinced that I need to hold onto products and learn how to use them before giving them away.
I also didn't like that Sabino didn't allow moisture into the hair.
i would also love to know alternatives too. is gvp silk infusion still a contender?
I'm natural. I think I tried John Freida awhile ago. I didn't know what I was doing then. So, I threw the product out. I'm never throwing anything away again! You sold your sabino??!!! I use the CHI silk infusium itself and I like it. I don't usually have much issues with frizz.
I also like Rusk thermal serum. you might want to give that a try. Once I ran out of my sabino and I needed something because I was straightening my hair for cutting purposes as I'm a natural and feel it's better to do it while it's straight. Anyways my hair looked so shiny, and straight, and silky. So I think it could help with the frizz thing if you can find it. Oh and it's alcohol free and has a heat protectant in it.
I haven't BKT'd again (as you know I only did my bangs). I'm letting it wear off. IDK if I'll do it again. I may or may not armed with the info that others like Naturaltobe has suggested.I'm natural. Hmmm...never heard of gvp silk infusion.
I LOVE Chi, but is that a frizz buster?
Maybe I can get Rusk from a local BSS. Is it a fruzz buster and heat protectant? The "thermal serum" title sounds like a heat protectant.
How's BKT working for you?
Yodie... I still think that it is technique over many of the products... I found that Sabino HEATED my hair much hotter than I was comfortable with. So - I only use it sparingly... or on wet hair.... and when I am not plannig to use heat. I think it caused more problems that solutions....
Anyway, I have to say that the best frizz buster is a steam treatment. It seems that the infusion of steam helps to keep moisture in, and helps to keep moisture out.... the hair is hydrated. I use Turn Up the Heat ( available at sally's) and spray - then blow dry.... Flat iron - and that seems to work pretty well. I think Sabino over heats hair.... and I am ok with poof - over hair coming out in my comb becuase I fried it.
Thanks, Lucky's Mom. I'll try my steamer tomorrow. Sometimes I can't stand the dripping conditioner and heat, BUT my hair is worth it. I'll check out "Turn Up the Heat." Sounds like a heat protector. I'm still trying to decide whether Chi Silk Infusion is a heat protector. I don't know.
Do you use the blow dryer comb attachment or another method to dry your hair?
Thanks again for these tips.
Yes I do. I dunno if you saw my "etae review" post... but there are pics there. However I just bought a new FHI blow dryer - and I may use a brush - not a denman - but a paddle...
I'll look for that post. Thanks.
My hair is shorter now, so the paddle probably wouldn't have much to hold onto. Lol!!
Thanks again. You know I'm off to Sally's tomorrow.

Yodie: Have you thought about IC Fantasia Frizz Buster?
I used it heavily this Summer and it was a great 'inexpensive' products. I liked it so much I repurchased it again.
Which is saying a lot for me, 'cause I'll drop a product and KIM...
This Product worked really great to control Frizz and I was 10+ Weeks Post.
