I need a cold towel on the forehead...any mention of handsome Andrew Lessman and I get faintlike! And he's a mother's boy??? :lachen:I was thinking of buying his vitamins. Do you go through HSN or other?

LOL. :lachen:You are too funny. I get mine from Procaps Labs http://www.procapslabs.com/PCL/Page...es|858457147&gclid=CJOJ5tezy5cCFQv7agodBw2OTQ.

I venture away from his hair skin and nails vitamin but I always come back. There is a discount with auto shipping (and you can adjust the date as you please).

Can anyone who has taken them already, or is just very knowledgable about them, Inform on any side effects, Please!

I'm on my third box and I'm getting massive growth. I take 2 nioxin also and a gang of other vitamins. I want to cut some of my other vitamins out cuz I just keeping adding, adding, and adding more vitamins. Hello, my name is Tanya and I'm a vitamin pj:lol: For real though. I take 2 nixon, 2 viviscal, 2 bamboo's, 1 biotin, 1 b50 complex, 1 evening primrose oil, 1 flaxseed oil, 1 acerola, and 1 multi-vitamin. Which one/one's should I kick to the curb? Of course my viviscal/nioxin is staying but which ones should go? I just think I'm taking too much:p

ETA: I know that on the viviscal box, it says to take one pill in the morning and one pill in the evening but I take both of mine together and was wondering is anyone else taking the two pills together instead of one in the morning and one in the evening? The reason why I take all my pills together because if I take them seperately throughout the day, I would not take them consistently.

Hi TSmith, Can I ask, What is Nioxin, I tried looking it up, but I can't seem to get any info!

I took them years ago for about 8 months. Don't remember much except my hair was very healthy. I took them pre-LHCF so I don't know if they made my hair grow faster or what. I do remember growing a lot of hair during that period and getting lots of complements from family members.

Back then, I was a stay at home Mom and had ran up my credit cards trying to keep up with the purchase. I think they were like $65 a box then. I stopped taking them for monetary reasons. Good to hear they are so much cheaper now!!

These are good hair vitamins they did allow me to get 1 inch per month for the first 2-3 months then my growth tapered off to 1/2 inch. I'm on maintenance now which is one pill per day.

I wonder if you could take all the ingredients independtly and get the same results ( for cheaper)

Cartiligeous Marine Extract = amino acids/proteins
Acerola extract = Vitamin C
They give you More vitamin C
& then Silica compounds

i bet its mainly the protein, alot of women who increased their protein reported 1"-2" a month, never heard of vitamin c doing anything really spectacualr, and silica is always good

This is what they have to say about their new improved version specifically for women. I have not used them.

Viviscal Woman has the solution for you. Viviscal Woman has the same amount of active ingredient as the original formula and in addition to Biotin, Folic Acid, Zinc, Grape seed extract , Vitamin E and the whole grouping of B's -Thiamine, Riboflavin Niacin, Pantothenic Acid, B12. This blend helps speed the process with better absorption and greater results.

This new Viviscal Woman formula provides nutrition to your hair. Nutrition is vital to making hair grow at it's maximum rate and look it's best. Viviscal Woman has also been known to thicken thinning hair, and stop the effects of hair loss.

Viviscal can help the texture of the hair to change and the hair feels healthier, heavier and fuller after regular Viviscal use. Viviscal tablets have been shown to decrease hair loss and regenerate new hair growth by activating resting hair follicles. Viviscal works through the bloodstream thus nourishing the hair follicle. Viviscal tablets have a beneficial effect on skin and nails as well.

I think I will try these and ONLY these (nothing topical) as a growth aid for 2010. These are expensive though, so I'll need to budget now.

not sure if this was addressed already but, what happens when u stop taking them? does ur hair just go back to normal? or do you see some hair loss due to the follicles that were 'awakened' now falling back to sleep or changing stages?

Crazydaze911,

I took them for 4 months back in Dec 06 into March 07. I got at least 4 inches of growth. I was completely natural and used them to get to WL. I stopped taking them because they cost too dang much. I didn't experience any adverse effects. My hair growth just returned to it's normal rate but I didn't have any shedding or breakage.

My hair always grows super fast with a Wal-Mart vitamin called OneSource for women. They are about $5. My nails, eyebrows and hair all respond very well. When I don't take them it's the same thing, my hair returns to it's normal rate but I keep the extra hair growth. :yep:

I'm growing my layers and hair out now so I might go back to Viviscal. :yep:

^Yes, it does.

I've used Viviscal in the past (I have 3 boxes at home now), and it does work, but you must give it time...and $$.
