And how do you use yours? Damp, dry, both?

Thanks. I REALLY need to know before the Ghee comes back in stock on QB's site.

I've never used it. But, if you do a google search (type in detangling ghee site:longhaircareforum.com) several threads will come back with reviews that may help you.

Thanks. I've read more reviews than I can even explain... for both and I'm still at square one. They were both given great reviews. I'm just still mulling it over. I have a product problem! :ohwell:

Ah, I see.

Doesn't the afro detangler come in a gallon size? That would put me off right there. Though I heard she's making a 16oz.

Yeah. They have in in 16oz sizes now. I have a few samples but haven't used them yet. I'm trying to decide if I want to get the sample sized ghee or go for the regular size. I'm a QB fanatic so it doesn't help my decision. Told you I have a problem!

Really? I tried the detangling ghee during their last sale in JUly and it sucked. It did absolutely nothing for me as a detangler.

Afro detangler gets my vote - I have not tried the ghee, but I did get the afro detangler (sample size) and it was excellent! I am natural. My mom (she is relaxed) took out her 8week old individual braids this past Saturday and we detangled with the Afro detangler.. It was a miracle worker:yep:

Really?? I'm looking forward to using this. But i still want to try the Qhemet Detangler.

Qhemet's Detangling Ghee doesn't work well for detangling. I've given samples to friends that all report back the same results- doesn't detangle.

I apply a "little" to hair before I rollerset.

I must be the only one who actually likes the Detangling Ghee for detangling. I use it after I've deep conditioned and rinsed. I put it on, let it sit for 5-10 minutes, then take a regular size comb and start working my way through. It cut my detangling time in half. I've never used the Afro Detangler, so I can't comment on that.

Thank goodness you all responded because the Ghee is back in stock on tomorrow. Tell me, do you use the Afro D. on wet/dry hair. Steps please. I used mine on Saturday but not the way it was instructed. I'm halfway through my transition so applying, twisting and letting it dry is not cute for me right now. So I just applied to damp hair tried to detangle a little and let it dry about 80% before I blow dry. It didn't wow me but I don't want to rule it out yet.

Thanks for any help!

After you work the ghee through, do you leave it in (as a conditioner leave in) or proceed with another product before you dry? Thanks for the "other side". You're not alone. I think I'm in review overload because I've read a lot of reviews for the Ghee... even you tube (and that's not counting Qhemet's comment section either).

Thanks
