Hey Ladies!

I just wanted to show 9 months of progress on my left side. This side was chewed up and rough. It grows in a different texture than the rest of my head and has been short for a few years now. But with solid info from LHCF a simple little regimen no heat and moisture to the max, IT'S GROWING!
Also in the August picture I'm 15 weeks post relaxer, I flat-ironed to see my progress.

wow great progress!! Thanks for posting your pics.

My left side burnt off from the pressing comb three years ago and it's still broken off. I am about to go cut my hair right now as I type because the left side makes my hair look so thin and I cant take it.

People were asking me what happened to my hair because of this darn left side:rolleyes:

My left side grows slower than my right side. I think its because I twirl my hair too much on my left side LOL

Happy hair growing!

congratulations, it looks really good. I have the same problem. What's your regie?

I stopped wrapping my hair, I make an effort to not sleep only on my left side, stretched my relaxers because I think I did major damage to this side, after a relaxer my left side would be very sensitive. Wash 1x weekly with silk elements or mane n tail shampoo and condish, deep condition weekly silk elements cholesterol, redken intense renewal or ion emergency effective care treatment. I do duo tex protein treatments also. That's it really rotating moisture protein weekly, moisturize daily with hawaiian silky 14n1. I also made a sulphur based oil mix that I used off and on for these months also but I don't think that it made that big of a difference. The care I took with my hair made the biggest!

I've been taking care of my hair more as well. I have similar issues with the left side of my hair and I beleive it's continued to be a probelm because I primarly sleep on the left side of my head. Whatever it's from, it's left the left side of my head with hair that it's a slightly different texture than the right - it's frizzer, a bit more coarse and considerably less strands. I'm hoping with keeping up with washing, conditioning/proten and moisture regiment my hair will start to flourish again. It sort of happened out of the blue. I honestly believed it initially happened becuase I wore sen. twists on and of for about 1 yr and half. I hate a lot of damage over-all (mostly on my ends - the were fried) and prodominatly on my left side with what I've listed above.
