So lately my hair has been very rough. I was using my mositure and protein. I was making sure it was clarified and conditioned but I has not luck. Well yesterday I went and bought the Roux porosity control and wow! I didn't think it was going to work so well. I figured it was a lot of hype. For seven bucks it worked wonders on. Anyone who has a regimen that just seems to not be working should give this a try. For no more then 10 dollars it could be your missing link.

which step did you buy? or did you buy the set?

i have step one
and i think i need to leave it in longer

i tried it the other night and it did make my hair smoother and less tangly. i only had a little bottle though so i doubt i got all of my hair. i guess i gotta buy the bigger bottle and try it again.

I was going to make a post about this or do a search just right now. Small board eh? JP anyways I was wondering if I could use this on my natural hair, because on the bottle it says its for color treated hair and relaxed chemically altered hair.

How do I incoporate this into my reggie? I want to get it but I want to know why I should get it and how I should use it.

Are any naturals type 4 using this?

There are a gazillion threads on PC, so I'm not gong to get into the many ways people use it. I've used it and it's okay for my natural hair, but I still prefer, and use, an acv rinse instead.

maybe i am not using the right search words cause only 21 threads came up for me. The little bit of info that I gathered from the smaller threads is making me not interested. Since I started using my homemade spritz my hair has been super soft so if it ain't broke then im not fixing it.

I just recently starting using PC and I'm really enjoying it! There is also Roux 2Phase with a lower ph that I'm using too (I haven't formed an opinion about this product yet).

Try this. This is the porosity control challenge, which links to 5 threads on PC and 4 on acv.

I love it. I use the Roux PC and it makes my hair smooth. My rollersets come out so bouncy and swangy, its ridiculous! I always make it a point to use this at leadt once a week after my DC

Hey ladies! Let me start off by saying hello and I hope you all have a wonderful, beautiful day!

I read this thread yesterday. I just removed my braid extensions and my hair has been a tangled mess since then! I've used porosity control in the past, but you know how it gets when you use something and it works wonders for your hair and you promise to use it continuously then you forget all about it? Well, that's what I did!

Anywayzzzzz, I used it last night and MY LORDY-LORD! My hair is easy to detangle and it feels a little softer. I think I need to do some more treatments before it gets as soft as I'd like.

Thank you ladies for posting!

I had the small bottle of Roux PC...I purchased the big bottle from Sallys a few days ago and plan on using it when I take my cornrows out.

How much did your big bottle cost? I know the one at the BSS cost about $6 for the condish and $9 for the poo. Not sure of the sizes.
