ETA: I totally enjoy reading your product reviews and it was because of them that I got so interested in Jason Naturals hair products. I have used the jojoba and biotin conditioners ans so far I love them a lot. I am waiting on the sea kelp, and lavender to arrive. I haven't ordered the aloe vera and apricot cons as yet.

OMG!! You made my heart flutter! Your hair looks so good. I have been debating about going back natural and you are making me want to shave my head today...heck I've done it before. But I'll wait til summer. June 2010 here I come!

How many months of growth did you have before you chopped? Did you go to a salon, barber, or did you do it yourself?

I had about 1.5 month's worth of growth. A little over one inch. It's about 2" now (I BCed last month and just got around to posting pics now, lol).

I did the BC myself all three times.

Thank you! Seriously inspirational. I am about 5 weeks post and I want to chop at 8. My BFF said she doesn't support me, because she did not like how I looked when I chopped the first time at 10 weeks, a few years ago.

But looking at you hair, I believe, has given me the encouragement I need.

I need a new pair of hair sheers...

This will be my third time as well. First, with a BC after two months. Then, I did a 12 month transition after going back to relaxers. It can be very difficult to make the decision between the two.

However, I was reading a post by msa and she said something about presenting her true self at all times. That way a person cannot say you have changed or whatnot.

I want to start back dating and I also knew that I would eventually go back natural. Natural is where my heart is. So, why shock my future boo, LOL...with a buzz cut?! I don't want to introduce people to my representative anymore. So 1 inch of hair here I come!
