I use the Hair, Skin, and Nails by GNC. I don't know about the brand you have pictured so I can't give my opinion. Your HS&N's doesn't appear to have Biotin or MSM in it. How much did you pay for it?

I am using a hair, skin and nails formula that I bought from walmart, and it has a lot more stuff in it than that. I see the horsetail ingredient, but like the previous poster, I think it should have biotin and msm also.

I only take a generic target brand of prenatals. I have anemia, so my doctor suggested this. It seems to have helped my hair though!

I have been taking GNC Ultra Nourishair plus the GNC biotin for a while now. I cannot say that I've seen growth or increased thickness from it, so I am thinking about switching to another brand. Can Anyone recommend a more potent hair growth vitamin?

biotin should do the trick
how many grams are you taking a day?
and OP a good hair skin and nails vitamin should have biotin in it or you can opt to take biotin straight

I have been taking prenatal vitamins for a while now and just last week started with Biotin. I'll keep you updated on the results, but I don't know about that one you have up there.

GNC's hair skin & nails. i've been taking it regularly for about a month, and have noticed that my new growth is coming in thicker, and my nails are whiter. i just take 1 pill daily, though the bottle calls for 2 a day.

i'm also finishing off Target's Biotin supplement. they're dirt cheap for 100 capsules (less than 1.75 per bottle), but they're not coated, and are difficult to swallow. i take 2 of them a day along w/ the GNC.

Take the Be Beautiful (hair, skin and nails) vitamin from GNC.

I take the Hair, Skin and nail vitamins from Dollar General and they seems to help my growth, when I take them regularly.

I take GNC Hair, Skin, and Nails. I take one a day, even though it says to take 2. It was making my face break out. And I don't drink enough water to curb the side effects. I take it when I can remember though. I skip a day most times. How long should you be taking a vitamins to see results? About a month?

I saw where someone mentioned certain missing ingredients from your HSN vitamins. Honestly mine don't have those ingredients either. I take a HSN with rosemary, sage, horsetail & dulse something or the other. It's by Nature's Sunshine.

However, I do also take 2 tbsps of MSM per day along with Alta Silica, L-Lysine & N-Cysteine. I used to take Biotin but I take so much stuff when the last of it ran out, I just never bought any more.

I will say that I truly think the Silica helps with my nails because when I run out & I'm waiting for my new supply to arrive in the mail, I can definitely tell a difference in them & their strength.

HTH...

I take 1 generic multivitamin + minerals.. then D, and Iron on the side.
I am going to see what I can do to get some hair/nail vitamins.

I take Prenatal, MSM, Biotin, Fish Oil, Flaxseed, and B complex
I take these (except for the prenatal, I just take a regular multi vitamin). I also take evening primrose and horsetail, as well as Vitamin C.

I take GNC Hair, Skin, and Nails. I take one a day, even though it says to take 2. It was making my face break out. And I don't drink enough water to curb the side effects. I take it when I can remember though. I skip a day most times. How long should you be taking a vitamins to see results? About a month?
It can take about 2 - 6 weeks to see the effects of a good vitamin regimen. It depends on what your body was "missing" before you started the regimen. You may be catching up on some things, and then once you are on an even keel, you'll start noticing the difference. And I try to drink about 80 oz of water per day (some days it's closer to 100). Water helps your body distribute the nutrients to where they are needed. :yep:

I have Andrew Lessman's Hair, Skin & Nail Vitamins from HSN. There's lots of biotin and MSM (and other stuff).

i take targets hsn vitamin, msm powder, epo, biotin, kelp, nac, silica, vitamin b complex, and vitamin c. i'm still struggling to drink the proper amount of water, and remember to take them all daily
eta: forgot i also take garlic supplments

• Viviscal
• Phytophanere
• Holland & Barrett Mega Vitamins for hair
• Flaxseed oil x1 (1000mg per tablet)
• and last but not least Rich's Rich's Max strength OptiMSM x3 (1200mg per tablet).
So far so good

I only take two vitamins...but my multi-vitamin hits a BUNCH of points, so I don't have to take to many. :)

Biotin 1000mcg (thinking of bumping it to 2000mcg's now that I've been able to observe long enough to know 1k isn't bringing a negative reaction)

Solaray Spectro Woman Multi-Vita-Min 3 a day

I've been taking the GNC Womens Ultra Mega Bone Density vitamins, SlowFe Iron, and a super B from walgreens(cant think of the name of it at the moment) ! I can tell that my growth rate is even better along with my ovation cell therapy !!!

I take a lot of supps for health but I have noticed that the protein powder has made my nails longer and stronger than they have ever been. I'm sure it's working on the hair, I am natural 4b-don't straighten much but when I do I expect to be pleasantly surprised.

I try to take all of my vits in liquid or powder form because the body digests it better. The only thing I am taking specifically for hair is L-cysteine. I believe protein/amino acid is the way to go for increased growth.

I take a multi, MSM and flaxseed oil regularlly. Iron & acidophillus(sp?) sometimes.

I just started the MSM, wanna keep it up until dec.

I'm a 4 a/b natural and I take daily:

New Chapter Organics Raw Whole Food - Every Women's One Daily Multi-Vitamin

Health from the sun Maximum Omega 3-6-9 (which is fish, flaxseed and borage seeds oils)

Kyolic Aged Garlic Extract
