Any reviews? How do you use these? I am really excited because today was a good day so I wanted to purchase a new hair product.

I have used both of these oils. I love Vatka because it leaves my hair moisturized and it helps lay down my ng. The Brringraj oil I use mainly at night because it helps me sleep. Both oils can be used for daily maintance or to prepoo with. I think there is a thread talikg about Vatika oil & hair growth. You can't go wrong with either one. They both leave your hair soft and strong.

Thanks for the links. I knew there was a lengthy thread on Ayurveda but when threads are long like that I tend to get bored and not get the info I am seeking. I will look at some of your links though thanks.

flowinlocks have you noticed any thicking and/or hair growth from using these?

Looks like your hair is in for a very special treat!! :lick: I use the Vatika oil mostly on my scalp several times a week, and the bhringraj oil in my pre-poos, and occasionally in a DC. Luv these oils!

I am going to use tonight. Do you think I could mix these oils or should I leave them be since they are already pretty mixed. I hope this helps with my itchy scalp. I am going to probably use the vatika oil tonight and oil my scalp massage and also apply some to my hair and rinse out in the morning before i do my hair.

I'm gonna have to say yes to both. Although I believe it's a combo of bunning, air drying, cowashing, dcing, and oiling. I use to never oil overnight, but I have been so tired lately I have been oiling at night & cowashing in the morning with a cheapie cond. (no herbs mixed in). This is a way of keeping the herbs in my hair even when I don't feel like mixing powders. It's also a good way to go if you don't want to start a hardcore Ayurvedic reggie.:yep: Just doing this alone makes my hair feel moist & strong at the same time. I forgot to add you can do a hot oil treatment with these oils as well. The Vatika oil has been getting great reviews on other hair boards as well. Some people have reported growth from using it.

You can mix the oils if you choose too, I mix them all the time. However as I said before the Bhringraj help induce a sound sleep, so I tend to use this one more at night.

I've only used Vatika. I love it. Makes the hair very soft, silky and very shiny. I use it as a leave in, but I know some ladies use it as a rinse. It's basically enriched coconut oil so it's safe to leave on.

The lemon in it helps with itchy scalp too. :yep:

Word of caution - the coconut oil base will harden or go solid in lower temps, so you might want to transfer it to another container or just remember that you might have to heat it up at times to get it out of that bottle.

Ok I won't mix. I will put my Vatika in the color applicator bottle and use the other oil when i pre poo or for hot oil treatments. I am reading the links that were posted and getting some good info. Thanks!

:yep: I actually put mine in an applicator bottle, that way I can just sit it in some hot water for a few mins.and squeeze it out. Sometimes I leave it sitting on the dvr.

I already put my Vatika oil in an applicator bottle and applied to my scalp and rubbed it in. Then I used the other oil on my hair. Just a little bit probably a dime size and then a quarter size of coconut oil and massaged and put a shower cap on. I will rinse it out in the morning when I cowash and style. Yea i am so excited. I hope my edges grow in.
