On a good note...Glad to see you back posting! You were truly missed!

I wish she could have her hair ripped out of her head from the root just like she was doing to her child!!!

:bighug:

and that girls hair wasso beautiful she didnt have to go through all that.. her mother was just being mean.. that hair was very managable :nono:

I didnt get to see this the first time around. It really brought tears to my eyes :(. It brings back memories of being a child and the sensation of having my hair pulled as its detangled, its very painful. Thank goodness for the parents I had, although my mother was sometimes a bit rough, she was gentle compared to this monster. Im filled with disgust, anger and sadness as I watch that.... its child abuse

There was no reason for that lady to brush her baby's hair like that. She was trying to hurt that girl, anyone who has every detangled a single hair on their head knows that first off you don't use a hard nylon brush or a brush period, you get a comb. N she wasn't even trying to be gentle, no reasonable or semi-intelligent person would brush or comb hair like that. I think that weave wearing mother was jealous of her child's hair. Her and the girls older sister (who was the one who originally posted that video on her myspace page) SMDH

It's hard to look at! but Im sure most of us have 'been there, done that' maybe not as bad (hopedfulyy) but I remember crying and spazzing out when my hair was just too nappy to sit still through lol

But did your mom leave bald patches throughout your head or pull out most of your hair at your hairline?

Have you seen the still pictures?

If your hair remained attached to your scalp than it just can't compare to the hell that kid is going through.

Anyone who doesn't believe what this person did is abuse needs to take a comb or brush and duplicate what was shown on that video.

If done properly, then there should be clumps of hair missing from his/her head.

I don't know if it's left over slave mentality, ghetto mentality, emotional or mental instability or simply this woman taking out all her personal failures or frustrations on someone much smaller and weaker than herself.

Whatever it is, it's wrong and needs to be corrected.

ETA - in_di_vi_du_al - Believe me I do not want to diminish in any way your experiences growing up. ALL of it is heartbreaking and just plain wrong and I'm sorry you had to go through that. Parents are supposed to nurture our kids and raise them with a balance of discipline and love, not cruelty.

She's(The Mother) laughing in the video.:ohwell: This could be the sickest thing I've ever seen on you tube. I hope it is staged. I pray for that lil girl's sake.

Hey Iris! Welcome back!

I saw a few seconds of that video and my heart broke for that child. You can tell that she was out to just hurt that child, not brush her hair.

I could've had that childs hair detangled, moisturized, oiled and smoothed out in some nice cute puffs in no time with no tears. Why was she brushing over and over again like that...it wasn't even getting anything done!

Is there a way that this person can be found and reported to Child Protective Services? THIS IS CHILD ABUSE. I THINK I AM GOING TO TRY

It was a game to the "Mom", "Camera girl" and to "Ian"(who was gonna get his next).
I know that kids can be tender headed and over dramatic when getting their hair done, but in this case, the little girl was definitely not without cause. I can't believe that "Mom" was plopping the brush through her hair like that. It was TOTALLY on called for.

This is why I find it hard to believe that's her daughter. Could be a step-daughter.

The mother was incredibly rough with her daughter's hair, and after all of that brushing she didn't have one ponytail or braid in her hair so what was the point just to punish the poor girl ?

So true.
My youngest daughter used to cry and scream and yell at me like I was killing her, when I combed her hair. Y'all would have wanted me locked up too. I was trying to hold her there and comb her hair too. If I didn't , the school would have called child protective services on me for never combing her hair.

All she has to do is part and braid the hair into eight sections, add detangler and hair oil. Pin up all the braided sections except one, and work with the one unbraided section first with a wide tooth comb by detangling the ends and work her way up to the roots. Once she detangles and braids the first section, then take down another section and repeat the process. That's what I do with my hair.

No wonder the girl is acting the way she is.
