Hey Ladies,

I recently decided to fully embrace my natural curls and give up the flat iron. I'm struggling a litlle bit. I have no problem with natural...it's just being OUT with it and not hiding in my bun. I work in a very conservative environment....So, I decided I would do natural updos during the week, and then have my BIG hair for the weekends. Well here is my wash n go that I then chickened out and put in a messy bun....lol...to go to work. I plan to use a diffuser this weekend to stretch out my shrunken curls to have BIG hair. Sorry for the quality of the pics....it's from my phone. What do you think?

I'll have to take pics with mny REAL camera this weekend to show the spirals and curl definition...I do like that, but you can't see it very well in these phne camera pictures.....lol
 
looks pretty! What exactly do you use in it for the curl definition and what have been ur staple products?
 
Thanks! I just conditioner washed, and then used a bit of Cantu Shea Butter Leave In and a quarter size amount of EVOO for the ends.
 
Thanks Ladies!! You know how it is when you're dealing with corporate making your climb...but I'm ready to step out of the box and truly embrace my hair....I guess I'm sort of coming out...lol....thanks again!
 
Girl your hair is beautiful . its really is a dang shame you cant wear it out at work :( . a bun should not be the only choice for a natural . :nono: and if you dont want to use a blowdryer in the summer heat to make it big . i get big hair by puttin my hands though my hair, fingertips near my scalp and fluffing the roots out . a bit like teasing my roots with my fingers . then i take the ends of my hair and between my palms pull my ends downward and keep doing that all over till its a big as i like it . and no heat :) ! but my hair is fully air dried when i do it . please dont do it on wet or damp hair . i saw butterfly on you tube do something like this . i tried it and have been loving no heat big hair ever since ! :)

It's beautiful.. I am going through the same thing with wearing my wash n' go in public and to work. I just went for it and got so many compliments and you surely will too! Embrace the curly!!!!
