As far as customer service goes, has anyone experienced bad or not so good customer service from Shescentit?

One thing I can say about Hairveda is that even though the shipping/delivery times may be very long at times she has always had exceptional customer service in my opinion.

I don't feel I receive good service at all with SweetCashew with Shescentit. She never says "Hello" or "Thanks" when replying or responding to my emails and she always seems VERY dry with her comments or answers to me... and I hardly even contact her unless I have a question regarding a product or something.

I wonder if it's just me or just her personality?? Has anyone else experienced this??
I'm skeptical about ordering anything else from her or her site:perplexed

I have never ordered hairveda but I have experienced nothing but exceptional customer service from shescentit! I do not like the new scent of the banana brulee though. I think when I order next, I am going to request the old scent if its possible.

Wow, that sucks. I order a lot from small etailers, and I pretty much demand that they provide excellent customer service; the personal touch is one of the main reasons I order from them instead of buying all my stuff from Sephora. (Plus, they should realize that the competition is too stiff for them to slack off.)

In my experience, the HairVeda lady has been the one lacking. She hasn't responded to ANY of my emails regarding my missing package. I don't know what's up, but I'm getting really irritated.

Thanks for the reponses Ladies. I've since communicated with SweetCashew, All Is Well Now:yep:

I don't remember if I posted in this thread or not but not surprising to anyone I voted for Hairveda. I did find that I already voted so I must have posted in here.

Anyways I really like Shescentit's Body Scrubs. In terms of hair products I have the Green Tea & Hibiscus Conditioner, Honey Conditioning Rinse, and Fortifying Masque. I use them all for cowashing. The Green Tea & Hibiscus & Fortifying Masque are not thick enough at least for my hair for dc. I really like all three products.

Hairveda is my boo though. I own the entire product line except the green tea hair butter. I used this line 99.9% of the time for about 6 months and it changed my hair's life. Granted I have a ton of other products now but that's because I'm a pj. Hairveda meets all my hair's needs I just like to shop & try new things.

i guess im 50/50/ i love hairveda's deep conditioer and oils and i like shescentits condtioners but hate the butters.

I've only tried products from shescentit so I guess I really can't vote...
but I was wondering if anyone has tried either of the leave-in's or the jojoba hair milk from shescentit?

I love the avocado conditioner, it's my favorite conditioner so far. I'm going to order the hair butter samples and I'm thinking of trying one of the leave-ins...

I got my first order yesterday. That avocado conditioner is SLAMMING! It is VERY moisturizing. I used it last night and can't wait to leave it in for a coupla hours under a cap. The green grape leave in-- I do NOT love the smell at all.. kinda like cheap drugstore womens' perfume to me -- but I do think its a good quality leave in. I will know for sure by the end of the day. I really like the Gillian butter.....again I will know for sure by how my hair is feeling toward the end of the day.

I am pleased. Also cant wait to do a Banana Brulee DC!

It must be you. I sent her an email asking her about the availability of one of her products that she uses in her hair. Not only did she reply, pretty quickly, but she told me when the product would be back in stock. She was very friendly. I have never had an issue with her and I have been ordering from her for almost a year.

I haven't tried Hairveda but I do NOt like Shescentit products for my hair...Well at least the ones I've tried. I've tried the fortifying mask and the Avocado conditioner; both did absolutely nothing for my hair; total waste of money for me

Honestly I refuse to pick one over the other. I really like both. ALOT. Will continue to purchase from both.

SheScentIt:
Gillian butter (AWESOME STUFF, can't wait to buy more when it gets cool outside, I have enough to last through the summer)
Avocado conditioner (AWESOME STUFF, I need to reorder now!!!!)
Green grape spray leave in (at first I hated the smell but I love it now, want to try the Moisture Mist one next)

Hairveda:
Whipped Gelly (I LOVE this stuff)
Moisture 24-7 conditioner
Whipped Cream
Amala Cream Rinse (as a poo)

Tough to answer this question. I alternate between the two consistently. I do use shescentit conditioners more though. I love hairveda oils and whipped cream. I mainly use hairveda butters on my natural daughter because they are heavier and I find them to be more moisturizing for her. I like shescentit butters for myself and my relaxed daughter better. They are light and provide a nice shine. Both lines have good protein treatments.

I've been using Hairveda's Vatika Frosting for a few months now, and I'm finally admitting to myself that it doesn't work. My hair never feels better after using it, and I can't think of any results that I get from the product.

I went back to the website, and I saw that all the ingredients are extracts. Amla extract, henna extract, lemon extract. Not oils...extracts. We all know that there's a big difference between vanilla absolute, and vanilla extract...I wonder if extracts of these ingredients have different effects than a pure oil would have? Maybe that's why this product seems so weak to me?

I like Hairveda's Green Tea Hair Butter and Shescentit's Seyani Hair Butter (Jasmine). I use both at the same time as a pre-poo.

right now im going to have to go with shescentit. i really like the new coco cream leave in and while i like all her conditioners i really really love her banana brulee.

im somewhat through with hairveda. i love the cocasta oil and the whippe gelly but i dont think they with be staples any longer. we will see.

I like them both but I can't wait to try SheScentIt's Coco Creme Leave In...if it's as good as I hope it is I'll ditch my Whipped Cream and be team SheScentIt full time :lick:

Ummm...Why is this even a thread? Shescentit! Sike..They're both awesome but shescentit blows everything out this world.

I just received my latest SheScentIt re-order-- two Gillian butters (pink lemonade and sweet rain scents). Daily staples. Now I need more Avocado conditioner... and with her 20% off sale, UGH!

Time to re-order Hairveda too. NOTHING beats Sitrinillah conditioner.... I am waiting on a sale, or SOMETHING! I need:
Sitrinillah (I want the 32oz)
Whipped Cream (daily staple)
Whipped Gelly (daily staple)
Moist 24-7
Amala Cream Rinse

Between Hairveda and SheScentIt, I am really really luvvin my hair. Recently my mom who is natural decided to quit using heat (or cut way back) so she's been on a journey. She is majorly obsessed. She came over Saturday night and I gave her a boatload of products including some Gillian Butter. Now she is hooked and says instantly the dry patch on her crown (which I also have) is more moisturized and curling up instead of frizzing. These products have improved my dry frizzy crown too.

I'd have to say, I really enjoy items from both product lines. I just wish Hairveda woulda' had a Labor Day Sale as well.

Oh man, I've been trying to hold back on trying Shescent it..I am going to read this thread from start to finish.

Okay......Why Does Vatika Frosting Need it's "Own" Season:look: Please Elaborate.

Hey, Thanks For the Heads Up on The Sale!:yep:

Lol, its because of the coconut oil and shipping. During warm weather is a mess trying to ship it in it's liquid state. So she doesn't sell it during the summer.
