Green Tea Shampoo and Cream Rinse: I LOVE THE RINSE!!!!! It gives me a nice tingle and oooooo weee does it detangle like nobodies business.
Hope you enjoyed this long winded review :)

Hmmm.....I may reconsider on the Green Tea Finishing Rinse....:scratchch

Thanks

No no it finishes clean and gives you hair kinda a shine my hair is 4a/4b but it works and doesn't strip my scalp was oily but hair was dry so it still managed to do a good job

Thanks for the review. It certainly sounds better than the Blue Camomile. I have a normal/dry scalp I think. If I ever see it in Vitamin Shoppe I'll be sure to try it.

I tried the Blue Camomile conditioner not too long ago. It smelled good, kind of like lemonade, but I wasn't a big fan of it. Definitely wasn't as moisturizing as their other conditioners. I ended up returning it. I think the alcohols in it give it a matte finish for people who don't have dry hair. It's good for people who have normal to oily hair. I hope it works well for you, though :).

I didn't know it had alcohol good tip

Do most people follow GPB with another moisturizer ie GPB followed by Whoite camelia or do they feel GPB despite the protein is moisturizing enough.
Personally I wanna avoid the multiple use of conditioners in one day, would anyone recommend just using GPB alone?

I couldn't find the Green Tea Finishing Rinse, so I haven't tried it, but after what I experienced with the Blue Chamomile I don't think I want to try the Green Tea Finishing Rinse. It probably has a very matte finish to prevent excess oil build up in people with oily hair.

the rinse is amazing I keep some on hand and use it in the place of shampoo or detangle with it and rinse

But if it's really dry and damaged get the JAY conditioner or GPB. hit the website aubrey-organics.com and they'll show you what kind you need for your hair

Thanks. I have both the GPB and the JAY Conditioners. After further review, I think I will be returning both of those for Oily Hair Types. The Blue Camomille and the Finishing Rinse.:ohwell:

I saw the B5 Gel in the store, but didn't purchase. Had to Order the Mandarian Orange. Now, I am wondering, if it acts more like a "Gel"-- that is what I am looking for. Something that Slicks hair down. :look:

If I get it, and don't like......It's back to the store.

Thanks Ladies.

Yeah, here are the ingredients:

Aqua, cetyl alcohol (coconut fatty alcohol), aloe barbadensis (organic aloe) leaf juice, alcohol denat., helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, lactis proteinum (lactalbumin), glycerin, equisetum hyemale (horsetail) extract, tussilago farfara (coltsfoot) leaf extract, tanacetum annum (organic Moroccan blue camomile) oil, brassica campestris (turnip) oil, aleurites fordi (chinawood) oil, citrus grandis (grapefruit) seed extract, tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E), hamamelis virginiana (witch hazel) extract, ascorbic acid (vitamin C), glycine soja (soybean) oil, daucus carota sativa (carrot) root extract, beta-carotene.

Off to check the ingredients in the green tea finishing rinse. Just checked it. The ingredients definitely seem better.

I haven't used the gpb shampoo but all the ones I've tried from aubrey give you a dry feeling so I would never tell anyone to use just the shampoo

I always follow up any type of Protein Treatment/Conditioner with a Moisturizing Conditioner.

Yes, I thought the GPB was actually quite moisturizing, but I still used a Moisturizing Conditioner.

When I use GPB, I will always follow up with either WC or HSR or something else uber moisturizing.

Reason being, I use MT and alot of other protein based products, so I am always trying to keep it Balanced.:yep:

I have the shampoo and it was drying. I used it once and now it's sitting in my cabinet gathering dust. I love the GPB!!!

The Honeysuckle Rose shampoo dried my hair out too, I really didn't like it. I found the conditioner OK, not great enough for me to buy it again. I had to mix it with other stuff to get my hair how I wanted.

Thanks. I meant the GPB conditioner. Sorry for not making that clear. Lol I've heard enough bad things about AO's shampoos to go without conditioner.

Yes, You should be fine. It is actually a "Balancing Conditioner." Balancing Protein/Moisture. *Rehydrates and Re-energizes Your Hair.

Taken from the Bottle: Milk Protein Smooth Hair Fiber, Stengthen & Mend Damaged Areas

Organic Aloe: Replenishes Moisture

Amino Acid Complex & Horsetail Extract: Balance and Fortify Hair & Scalp

You should be fine. Especially if your Hair is already Properly Balanced.:yep:

Ladies, not all alcohols are bad. There are alcohols that are good, fatty and moisturizing. The most common being cetyl, cetearyl and steryl :D

I swear by their White Camellia Conditioner. It's a fantastic moisturizer, and I couldnt' believe how effective it was at detangling my 4b hair. Their poos aren't the best thing (I tend to go for Avalon Organics Lemon (Clarifying) poo, and Avalon Organics Peppermint Poo), but I haven't found a better conditioner than Aubrey.

I Agree White Camelia is Supa' Fantastic. Moisturizes Like None Other. My Absolute Fav of the AO Line.

And I also like the Avalon Organics Lemon Clarifying Shampoo & Conditioner! In fact, last time I clarified with Avalon I co-washed with just the Clarifying Conditioner.

Haven't tried the Peppermint?? I also have the Mango Awaphui too.:yep:

the gbp stopped my breakage in its tracks. i didn't have great results the first time i used it, but i used it a few months later after the breakage was getting worse and had good results. i also used the hsr conditioner afterwards although many people find it moisturizing enough ton it's on. i love the hsr conditioner.

The AO HoneySuckleRose Conditioner is my staple weekly moisturizing DC.:yep:

I use the AO WhiteCamelia Conditioner in my overnite henna mixes.:lick:

How many times a week is everyone using the GBP? Also, is this a light or medium protein? Thx

AO HSR on DRY hair. Awesome, Awesome, AWESOME. I have even added JBCO and slept in overnight because I was too tired to rinse. This is my staple DC and I LOVE.

HOWEVER

I HATED it as a conditioner on wet hair. It made my hair hard. I gave the first bottle to my DH. Then I heard about it on dry hair and LOVE IT. Now we both use it.

Shampoos are good for natural hair (one lather only). Conditioners are HEAVEN ON EARTH!

Ok....so for any and everyone who has used the calgun fern leave in treatment. What did it do for you hair? What did it do to your hair? Other then the small did you like?

I use it. Actually, It was one of the 1st AO products I purchased. Yes, I really like it and would definitely purchase it again.:yep:
