Are Conair Instant Heat Rollers just as dangerous?

I have been trying to cut back on the amount of heat I use. I use to use these rollers when I was younger, but was curious to know if this was a safe alternate to my curling iron?

I would like to know if this is better than using my regular ceramic Sedu flat iron to put curls in my hair. I don't see how it could be better since it's the same heat source. It's not steam, but ceramic ionic heated rollers. So what is the difference if any? Oh yeah, and my sisters stylist just had her order these so that she can use "less heat" on her hair per week.

I'm a Do It Yourselfer so I need to know...Online the price is $29.99 :drunk:

I know that is has cloth around the rollers, but I am not to sure if that would make a difference.

They sell them at Target to for $23.99, just in chase you were interested.

I just bought a set of these from Ross for $13.99 and I can't WAIT to try them. Haven't read many reviews but if it's anything like my caruso I will LOVE them!

Anybody with helpful insight to add?

Bumpity bump!

I want to know also. I received a set similar to this as a Christmas gift and would like to use them every once and a while without feeling guilty.

I've never used them but when my sister used them she liked them better than the curling irons because they steamed her hair which helped it to retain moisture.

i have these i used it on my weave its great for that but the heat that came from those things gave me a headache.

if anyone wants my set i will send it to you for FREE

I have a set but the curls fall to quickly because they are too loose. That may be because my hair is too short. I like my friend's set

better, but I don't know...I always thought of it as direct heat. I try not to use them more than twice a month. They don't get that hott though, so that's a good thing
