Hey gals

Today was a virgin application for a relaxer with mizani butter blends.

I have to say i really liked the system and i love the way my hair feels. I do miss the thickness already though!

The whole process was great i didn't burn once and she really took her time letting the products do their work.

She trimmed my ends, the only thing is i won't be going back in 8 weeks for a touch up i want to stretch.

I got swang!!!! lol

Its very pretty and looks silky!

ETA: You should avoid as much heat as possible (very little to NONE) and stretch your relaxers to regain some thickness.

Looks very nice. I got a BKT treatment after my relaxer and its unlike any other product I've used. You might like it for your hair as well.

Very pretty!! I used MBB when I texlaxed in March and I loved it!! I'm too stretching mine (transitioning again) but I'm glad I chose MBB bc I've had no breakage and my hair is very moisturized and soft...easy to detngle... I don't think i would have gotten thta with any other relaxer... enjoy!!

I'm glad you're happy with the results. I think stretching your relaxer will give you some thickness. How long were you natural for?

What made you decide to relax after being natural? if this is too personal, I am sorry, just ignore.

Hey, i don't mind answering.

I just wanted a change and i realised that i liked wearing my hair straight and wwas putting a lot of heat to achieve it and when it reverted it was annoying.

I love my natural hair but i also like relaxed hair and i want to be able to enjoy relaxed hair again.

Nya33..Your hair looks great...Im glad your happy with the results

Thanks Traycee! I love it and i love the movement.

Its my birthday today and it was a treat!

Now the real challenge is looking after it and continuing with healthy hair!

Thank you!

I've never stretched before so this will be interesting.

I hope so, i really want it to thicken up but i will be patient.

I was natural for 4 years, found lhcf a year ago.

Thanks for the advice, i will lay off the straightners but will use heat (dryer) to DC.

Very lovely hair!! Keep up with your dcs, porosity, and protective styles and you will reach apl in no time at all!

What's your hair type? I ask this bc if your type is similar to mine, stretching may be easier with this relaxer (did you relax bone straight?). I texlaxed and my hair is now more moisturized and softer...detangling is a breeze, rollersets look 100x's better... I went 15 months relaxer free before i decided to texlax, and i researched the brands and knew mbb would be best for me... i hope you have the same experience as i do!

Your hair looks great!! I know what you mean about missing the fullness of my stretched natural hair. I don't miss the kinks of my shrunken natural hair and the long wash, tangle prevention, braiding sessions.
