lol just had to get your attention. My mom and friends constantly ask me why i always seem to be on this website (even during class lol). And i sat down and have thought about it for a while. Yes i love the tips and hair inspirations, but even moreso i love how this is a place ( yea its virtual but w/e) where AA women of all decscents, shades, and hair types come together and are encouraging one another. I'm a college student and a lot not all, but a lot of the girls are seperated by skin color and hair type...but not here. This is how i wish all people could be in the real world...maybe they'll learn from all of you wonderful ladies. So thank you for providing a place of comfort and unity.

I try not to log on in front of people I know b/c I always get the, "Anew stay on that hair site" comments, lol...

Then they'll ask questions about how I take care of my hair then follow it up with why you do this or that, then proceed to tell me about how they couldn't do what I do b/c of whatever reason... all I wanna do is read a few threads and look at a couple of pics, lol..

IK! And You know what??? I don't even Care. I am on a "Mission" so eeerbody just have back up and understand, I got'ta do what it takes to get where I want to be.

And yes, I may seem a little consumed. And yes, I have either cancelled dates or cut them short a time or two to be out here.

Everytime somebody calls and says: "Hi what are you doing?" And before I can even answer they say: "I Already know...Out there On that Hair Site"

Now, they don't even ask. Oh Well. To them I say: Get A Life!
