Is L'huille maskerti (Haitian Castor Oil) available online? I'm not Haitian nor do I know any, so that's not an option for me. But if you've seen it online or anywhere in the DMV, please advise.

Hey Lady, I do not believe Haitian Castor Oil is available online. I am Haitian, and have never found it online, but try E-bay. Also, JBCO is L'huille Maskreti. It has the same scent and thickness, so you may want to try that. The only difference I see between JBCO and L'huille Maskreti is that L'huille Maskreti is a little bit grainier. My grandmother has a bottle that she keeps for everything.

Oh, so it is the same? I was reading threads last night on the two, I got the impression that they were different and the Haitian stuff is more moisturizing. But if they are the same I already have a bottle of the Jamaican.
In any event, thanks and I will check out EBay just to satisfy my curiosity (cause I am a shameless PJ! :lachen:)

I have JBCO and some L'Huile Maskreti Castor Oil and they are definitely not the same smell or scent.
The Hatian castor oil really stinks and not and the scent lingers longer and less sticky,I have to mask the smell.
If I have a different oil mix, my hair sure does love it.

how exactly do people apply this to their hair? or scalp? and for what purposes? and for how long do u keep it in? doesnt it stink up your hair?? has there been a massive change in hair growth or texture using this?
