Pretty! My Best Friend has your exact same skin tone if not darker, and I swear the benefits she has, blemishes are hidden well, she'll age veeeeeeeeeeery slowly and it is just so shiny, I know I sound dumb.

Sorry Black male relationship threads. All the issues with men passing her over.......I thought from the back shot that she was a pretty girl. After reading many posts (Y-all know what threads) however, I started to wonder if there could be any other reason (besides complexion) for passing MSA over . I see now that there is not and I was right all along. Dudes are wack.

LOL. I completely understand that though. Right now, I gotta get my weight down so I can knock that issue off the list. But in general, I think I'm cool peeps.

Thanks for the compliments! I really think it was the camera combined with the lighting where I was. My skin, in person, is not flawless because I've had really bad acne since I was like 10. I think my skin tone hides a lot of stuff though. Umm, as far as a skin reggie, I mainly wash my face with cetaphil soap, lotion it with cetaphil body cream, and put on sunblock (SPF 45+) everyday. I sometimes scrub it alot with one of those loofah towels and I do bentonite now like once a week or so.

I really had no idea. I felt like I looked craptastic most of the time I was at school because I was so tired and busy.

MSA, with some of the comments you make, I wouldn't have thought you look the way you do, you're beautiful girl! You always put yourself down but you should be one of those women that KNOW they're cute, cali men must be COLOR struck if they deny you. I will never live in California despite my dream too, LHCF has opened my eyes once again...I ain't mixed so I guess I'd be at the bottom of the line too!

Sample conversation: (people discussing dating prospects)
"NO ya'll, you know who's sexy?????? MSA!!!! I mean, dayum!"
"Wait, who?"

"You know, sexy dark skin, really nice complexion, like better than Grace Jones (actual comparison), sexy body like mmmmmmmmm, nice smile (mentioned all the time)?"
"Wait, who, what? Where is she?"
"I dunno."

Females: Oh, we know who she is. She's a senior. Kind of low key.
"Well, introduce me!"
"She's a senior."
"For real? Damn! Wait, really? Really?"
"Yeah, and I don't think she's available."
Other dude: Well I still need to see her.

Later, other dude sees you. "MMMMMMMM!" (Yes, I quote.)

Eventually, word spreads, and you develop the nickname Sexylexis among the majority of relevant (lol) freshman, sophomore, and junior black males.

And, no one told you or approached you trying to pick you up because all the girls thought it was inappropriate/awkward, and the guys were VERY intimidated. They thought you were beautiful (like goddess status - I've heard you called a goddess too), and really felt like they could not approach you. So, you'd be disgusted and insulted. They also assumed your response would be that you were attached. Finally, everyone knew you were a very good student, and since I hung with dudes who were younger than you with the exception of a few in Sophia, they were all just dang scared on so many levels!

Lawd, The Cali threads are sooo bad, I'm like Lord, What is I gon do? I can probably trace back to find a white great grand parent but it don't show... So...am I going to get any attention? I'm a medium brown and we don't get no love as it is, its either light or dark brown....I just don't know my self esteem would be pretty darn hurt too because I guess according to Cali men I'm not exotic enough. If I do decide to move, I'll call ya.
