Braidouts are a beautiful thing.

If you have had a failed attempt at a braidout, try again. I love them.

I am 21 weeks into my transition, 90% of the time, my hair is pinned up and held back with a headband...

I do braidouts, once every 3-4 weeks.

For these ones, I:
Cowashed with HE 'Break's Over'
Leave In - Nexxus Headdress
Airdried till about 80% dry
Applied Lustrasilk shea butter cholestrol to each section before braiding...



Tied scarf and kept braids in overnight.
Took out with shea butter mix on my fingers (kept dipping fingers into it)
Shook out roots and...

Very pretty! my hair is cut into a neck lentgh bob and I think its too short for a braidout. Ive tried it but my braids just come aloose (is that a word?lol) at the bottom.

I can't cornrow... so I do twistouts.. and put a flexi rod on the end and under the dryer for 15 minutes.. instant beautiful hair. I love them.

I don't think you should give up!!! I think you should do box braids at the back and maybe do little bantu knots or pin them up?

Why don't you try flat twists using the same method? I think your hair will look beautful in twistouts
