I love cornrows when they aren't going straight back or huge in size. Hers are both so personally, I don't like it.

But I don't think it's too dramatic or too casual for the dress. I think it looks appropriate.

I don't like it. Not someting I'd even consider wearing, but thats just me. I don't think the reporters statement was offensive, but those ashy elbows sure are.

I dont like it at all. Actually i hate cornrows on most women:nono::nono:

I think she looks more mannish with this doo` also a little birdish:lachen:
And why does her make-up look like she can barely open her eyes?!:ohwell: And why did she wear cornrows with that dress?? :ohwell:

I'm gettting similar braids at a similar length. I will bun them too sometimes. My hair is almost WL and I want braids to protect my hair this summer. I'm liking these feedinfefe2.jpg

I like them only if they were a little smaller or spread out....but she don't look bad.....she looks like a sexy alien.....but she's rocking them......I wish she could rock her real hair........

I think they look cute and she doesn't look like everybody else for once. It's a style, next week her hair will be blonde/brown and bone straight, I like that she did something else.

Ooh, I LOVE that style. That is too cute.

Ciara's cornrows look alright to me. They are too long for my tastes. They are very casual, just 6 or so braids straight back, but I've had my hair like this before, too, no extensions.

ciara has said that her hair is really long, and that she just wears the weaves so she won't have to deal with damage from heat styling and whatever... so doesn't that mean that the braids have to be really long to make sure to braid past her hair?

I do too.

I think the cornrows look sharp, but I do not like them on her. But, I don't find her attractive anyway, so I really can not be objective about this.

Usually she looks on point but this time I'm not feeling the hair or the outfit. I've worn that exact style and I would never have worn it with a dressy outfit.
Should this be in the entertainment/celebrities forum?

Well personally I think the cornrows are ugly. Seems like she wanted to copy off of Tyra. I know this a a majorily natural site and this may eb an unpopular opinion, but I think the do was ugly on Tyra also. Their attempt to rock a "natural" style failed. I see cute wash and go's and fros on this board. They should take note.

I don't see what's wrong with it...except for the fact that she also wore her hair like that for her lunch w/ KK and LaLa. :look:
I was about to say that the dress and the do don't match, but the dress is casual. She's one of those people who can sport an "ethnic" casual look and still look sexy. JMHO

I wonder where she was when she wore the style...perhaps she was at an affair on the beach somewhere then I could understand her choice of hairstyle even w// the dress.

But how about giving Ciara her props for rockin' her own hair AND still looking good.

I love it! I think she looks classy and beautiful, only thing is that I think they're a little too long. This is defo a style I would wear if my hair was longer than my ears lol. I'll start watching the clock......

She should have..she shouldn't have...too long...too short...goes with....doesn't go with......who cares??!!! She looks great. People are just trying to find something. Nice hair, Ciara.

Well I don't like cornrows on women too much. I'm sorry but you have to have a really particular shape of face/head for them to look right on you. Ciara looks likes a lizard with them, IMO. And I definitely wouldn't like them with that dress on anybody.

I would agree with the site's commentary. . .the length of the braids make them dramatic, IMO. If she had in weave that long, I'd say the same thing.

I just wanted to point out that it looks like that is her hair. Unless they've discovered a way to hide that little loop you have to make to attach your hair to the fake hair. (Which could be the case)

Um yeah there is nothing dramatic about her hair style with that dress.

If you look close at the pics you can see the ends of her hair poking out around SL.

I don't know what the secret is but I had a braider who could gve me extensions that were super flat like this in the front - you couldn't see where the extension hair was added. I wish that I knew how to tell someone to braid my hair this way because I don't like extensions unless there is no lump in front from the loop.

Sorry she looks a mess. Cornrows are not red carpet. To work- sure, weekends - great, down the aisle as a bridesmaid in a wedding - heck no. The dress is ugly too. It's definitely a dramatic change from her normal look.
