Whisper "bleep boop" to yourself when you're sad.
Okay, I'm an insanely impatient person. When I want something, I want it two days ago and will be a bug-a-boo till I get it

So when I order something from a website, I check my email like a billion times throughout the day to see if it's been shipped yet. Then when it's been shipped, I stalk the UPS/USPS website like a crazy person (like once every two hours :sekret: ) until it gets to my doorstep.

Don't tell me I'm the only one :look:

You described what I do literally down to a T. I check my email over and over again, reading the same confirmation email, and check the tracking number over and over again, even though I know very well that the status will be the same as it was 10 mins ago when I last checked it.:spinning: Then on the day of delivery, I basically camp out by my front door...:look: I can't help it, I get excited about new things/products!

Yes!! I am the same way. Sometimes my husband goes home on his lunch break and I'm calling, like, do I have a package?!!!! I have the UPS tracking page bookmarked. Yes, we need help. LOL

No. You are not the only one.

I am EXACTLY like you described in your post!!! LOL

I stalk the crap out of the postman and the UPS man!

Sorry ! I can't go along with you on this one "T" --- After I order something, I think: Where am I gonna put that, and Why did I buy that..........Did I really need that.

I have Buyers Remorse ---- That is.....until it gets here.:look:

Another thing. I don't only track those packages ALL DAY with the tracking numbers, but I call the post office and UPS and have them track them too! LOL

I know. That's bad.

Yes and my UPS like to play games and leave my package and not even knock so everytime I hear a truck go by I gotta jump up to see if it's UPS. :nono: Oh and tell me why I had to WRITE A NOTE to our mail lady cause her replacement put my package in the wrong damn mail box. It was in there for a whole weekend. I was HOT. That's when checking the status of you package 5 mins. pays off. My stuff said delivered and I hadn't gotten it yet. Luckly she found it and gave it to me.

I do the same thing!!!! :lachen:

And I woulda been calling the CREATOR of USPS if the website said my stuff was delivered, but I hadn't recieved it yet! :lachen: I can't even imagine how heated you were, cause I acts a fool when it comes to my hair stuff :boxing:

Now I will admit: The only time I became a Mad a Serial Stalker:cool: is when I ordered that Hairveda Stuff and it was taking really long. And they had my $ !

I'm exactly the same way.

The receptionist at work even keep's track when I have something delivered there. She call's my desk ASAP to tell me if something has arrived.

smh, I thought I was the only one...thank goodness for this tracking app on my IPOD touch, I don't have to go through the UPS, FedEX, etc. sites anymore.

I do this every time I expect a package. As a matter of fact I just did this Tuesday! I shipped my laptop off to be repaired by HP and stalked fedex site until they got it. They got it Wednesday next day express. I received an email saying that it was shipped out Wednesday and I could not believe they finished that fast! I stalked Fedex until it got to me and to see if It left its previous destination. I do this with everything!

Hi,

My prob is I live in an apartment and you know how they have those metal mail boxes that are like 12 x 4 or something, i.e., nothing hardly fits in 'em. Well, for safety sake they leave the lil brown slip and you have to go to the post office to get your stuff :bah:. Now, the P O is three blocks away, not a prob., but laddiessss. Mmm mm mm, two of the clerks at MY local office, must be the Witches of Eastwycke - some extremely unhappy folk. Get this, I HAD a post office box there, visit the office umm maybe on the average of three times a week - meaning they recognize me by face if not by name, right. So last month I take a little brown slip there to pick up package(s); they ask for i.d. I show them my license. Now, on my license I have my box address vs. a home address (I hate putting residence addresses on my license for obvious reasons). AND, I didn't put P O Box 606085 . . my license is like: Lovin' Locks, 1950 East 101st., #606085, City, St, Zip, right. Well, the one clerk goes behind the partition to the other witch and tells her I have the box listed as the address on my license (nothing to do with establishing my identity). We all hear the other clerk begin hollering and cursing, right???? Some witch nu. 1 comes back to the window and refuses to surrender my mail based upon the fact that the address on my license does not match the address on the brown slip!!!!!!!!!!!!! Again, mind you: She KNOWS it is me (she only needs to establish indentification).

What if I had the mail sent to a friend's house, a relatives house, whatever???? The driver's license would not match then either. it's BS. She stated she would resend the package to the mailing address by the carrier. I stated, no one would probably be home at that time either (see where I'm going with this)? She looked at me and restated her "intent". To be sure I was hearing what I heard, I queried, "So, let me get this straight, I have a box here, you people see me on the regular, you KNOW I am the individual the package is intended for as you see the name on the slip, you see the name on my license???" She was like, "Yup". I looked at her said "Okay, uh huh" and left.

I was really proud when my daughter said, "Now see Ma, you a good one, I woulda cursed her out . . ." I told baby girl that cursing her out would not get me the package (was so proud she witnessed her mamma doing something right).

Well, on with the story, next day I happened to walk up when carrier was there . . . YES!! Guess what, they didn't give him the package!! I told him the whole story and he said, "Don't bother reporting them because nothing would be done." He assured me he would get the package to me.

4 WEEKS LATER. I had to go up there thought i'd inquire about my situation. As it happenstanced a girl I performed with during a band reunion a couple years ago was clerking, right. SHE came out with TWO packages, had been sitting there all that time. You know what, I closed out my post office box there (have had it for YEARS) and went around the corner and opened one at the UPS store (much more expensive) and when I told them of my plight their response was ("Yes, we've heard about those women at the PO).

Though I've moved my box the unfortunate thing is when/if I am not here to retrieve packages, I'll get those lil brown slips and have to go up to 101st to get them. By golly when I got in yesterday afternoon, why I got (2) of them? I am dreading going up there this morning :nono:

It sickens me to be told nothing would be done. I have watched those women dog customers out for over two years. Why, the man in line in front of me that day last month; she dogged the heck outta him!!!! It's ridiculous. They are just nasty attitudinal woman (while at work; perhaps they are pleasant with their grannies or someone).

I do this. I am in college so I have to get my mail from the warden's office and I would literally check everyday when I had ordered a product. They started "sarcastically" making fun of me so I stopped going so much.

My coworkers used to tease me b/c my mail comes to my office. They always ask what new hair products I got before I even opened the package. And don't let me get some Hairveda stuff in b/c I MAKE all of them smell it.:lick:

Lol, my co-worker brings it back to my office as soon as it comes! Because not only do I go to her desk like a million times(she sits at the welcoming desk)I intercom her a billion times as well.I also have everything shipped to my job because I can't bear the fact of having to wait until I get home to actually touch something.I recently ordered shoes on-line and they shipped to my home address mistakenly instead!OMG I was about to have a nervous breakdown.

Ha Ha Ha Ha. I thought I was the only one. I'm currently stalking Fed Ex right now. I've been on Fed Ex's website every day since I got the shipping confirmation email. I want my steamer!!!!!:tantrum::tantrum::tantrum:

Heck yeahhhh!!! I did this last month when I ordered my pink Blackberry. Got a kick out of seeing all the destinations on the tracker online the phone had traveled until it reached momma!!! I know it sounds crazy but yes, if its something I'm looking forward to I got very anxious.

Nah, I'm very patient most of the time. I only start checking when it hits like the 2 week mark. Usually I'm in no rush. I have more than enough products to hold me over.

I thought I was the only one that had these tendencies--it is so nice of you to post this blog because I think that I have this issue too. I tend to look even when it says that I ordered the item to the time that I get the "email it has been shipped" to the UPS site.

Yes, I was so bad that I brought a P.O. BOX and now have all of my non-postal mail coming to my job just in case :nono:
