Anyone uses PROFECTIV MEGA GROWTH BREAK FREE DAILY LEAVE-IN STRENGTHENER??

I picked up this product at Wal-mart yesterday and used it after deep-conditioning then air-dried. My hair is still soft. Was wondering if anyone uses this product on the regular and what you think of it. Come on in product junkies!!

This is the one I used. I used to use it back when I first joined (before the pj kicked in ) and I absolutely loved it. It really is a great leave in and smells yummy. Moisturizes great, gives nice slip, makes hair airdry super soft. I don't think I've ever tried a Profeciv product that I didn't like. They make wonderful products

I use it as a scalp treatment every other day normally. This week I straightened my hair and mixed it with a lil coconut oil as a moisturizer (since it's oil then water based)and it left my hair really soft. I think I used it every other day since it worked so well though I normally moisturize daily if not twice a day. It was definitely worth the money in my book.

I will have to try this. The ingredients are pretty good. It has a few cones, but they're FAR down on the list.

I use the Mega Growth Break Free Daily Leave-In Strengthener in the 15oz tub. I like it because it combines the products of the break free line with the mega growth line. They also have a relaxer with this combo, and I love how simple it is to use, and my hair comes out smelling great and feeling silky. I usually seal with their mega growth pro growth smoother polish serum. Smells yummy.. These are definately staples!

I was just wondering about the protein content.... whether it will eventually cause breakage. I know the Cantu Leave-In Conditioner makes my hair hard and crunchy, but I've noticed that the Profectiv left my hair feeling soft after airdrying. Is there a such thing as too much of a good thing.... like if I use it as a moisturizer every day? I like the fact that it's creamy and water-based, but not so oily that it builds up or weighs my hair down.

I've used them for years. Good stuff. Have a purely moisturizing leave-in in your rotation for times when your hair gets tired of protein.

The Profectiv Long & Healthy is primarily glycerin, but my hair likes it. The key is to know when to use it. Glycerin works by pulling moisture from one environment into the next, so from the air to your hair. When the air is dry, I find that it feels like it does the opposite and actually takes moisture FROM my hair. But since I know how to use it, it works well for me and I dont get any build-up.

Used this for years loved it, especially for air-drying. Coincidentally, I just rediscovered this great moisturizer yesterday when going through some old products. I like to put it on prior to my nightly rollerset (not every night). Makes my hair moist, soft, but not weighed down.

Its not that I dislike it, I'm just not sure if its doing me harm or good. I used a glycerin product once during a baggying experiment. It made my hair kinda sticky at first, then it got hard. Which was fine at the time because I was just bunning. I tried Hawaiian Silky 14 and 1 and that was a sticky, goopy, mess that caused buildup overnight. I bought some HairVeda Whipped Ends (or something like that) and it said not to use heat appliances. So I am leary of using a glycerine product for everyday use because it seems to limit what I can do with my hair. I'm scuurd!

I know this is late, but it might help someone else who googled this product. I bought this when I was natural and my hair couldn't take too much protein but loved this. I'm relaxed now and pulled this out last night. This am my hair is super soft. I bought this and Cantu when I was natural and this one won out. Now that I'm relaxed, Cantu is still too strong but the Profectiv is perfect. I think I've found my staple protein moisturizer.

AdoraAdora24 I'm loving this product (the one on post #2) and searched it to see what LHCF thinks of it. I'm on my third bottle. I had stop using it for a while but I'm back to it. For some reason I remember it having more protein... I think my first bottle was the anti breakage product which may be why I thought it had more protein. But I'm loving the growth lotion. I use it nightly and my breakage are WAY down.
