I've been self relaxing every 8 weeks for about 2 years now. I want to stretch longer but the only problem is after 9 weeks its waaaayyyy to much to handel myself. I know there are a lot of "Stylist" in this area but can ya'll recomend any that pay attention to health? TIA!

Sabrina... she does my hair, my mom's hair, and one of my cousin's hair. No scabs EVER! My mom and cousin keep their hair cut at APL. Also, her hair is extremely healthy. Both her mom and grandmother were stylists and I think she got the healthy hair thing from them.

(504) 710-2058 (cell) This is the best way to reach her.

(504) 945-1835 (work) This is the number to the salon she works out of but call her cell first.

Thanks, Its really nerve wracking finding beauticians. I figured you guys would be the best reference. I dont need any setbacks and aint no body experimenting in my head:nono: LOL

When I get home I am going to see if I have a number for you. I went home last year and this lady did my hair and I loved it. I loved the salon (no loud talking, gossiping) and they even offered me water (bottled). I loved my experience.

One more thing. If you need a trim tell her exactly how much to cut. She'll get scissor happy if you don't tell her how much to cut; but if you tell her how much to cut, she'll cut exactly what you tell her to cut.
