Has anyone on here gone to either of the two to get a trim. A raggedy pair of scissors gave me some split ends in the front and I wanna take care of it Pronto!!

I've heard on the board that those are the best places to get a trim because they'll usually only cut exactly what you tell them, and it's inexpensive.

If you do go, make sure you take all the precautions: show them exactly how much you want taken off and ask them to let you see them cutting in the mirror.

Their is a youtube video that teachs you how to cut your ends yourself. Its called "dusting".

This was definitely the case at the Regis salon I went to for my first dusting after self-relaxing April 24th. I was shocked that she listened and did exactly what I asked.

I used to go to Supercuts all the time and they do a great job. all day long that is pretty much all they do. Most people don't go there to get their hair completely styled so their cutting skills are fantastic.

I've gone to Supercuts and Great Clips and was always pleased with their services. I haven't gotten any split ends.

ok so im deff. going to supercuts!!!! i just straightned my hair so it'll be easy to tell the split ends from the reg. hair

Yes, I go to a similar place called TGF Haircutters. A trim is only $12 (or less on super tuesdays) and they do exactly what you ask. I never leave feeling like they chopped me up.
