Isn't almond extract 35% alcohol? Please correct me if I'm wrong. I am wondering if you meant to purchase almond oil instead. I would be very careful using any extract. I know a lot of members on here are heavy-handed. I would think that just a drop or 2 would be suffice. Don't go adding a tablespoon of that stuff to anything unless you want dry, alcoholic hair.

I personally don't use it for anything except cakes, sorry!

Okay

2 1/2 cups of flour
3 eggs
teaspoon baking powder
1 1/2 cups of sugar
1/2 cup of milk
add some Almond extract

sift flour add rest of ingredient blend well put in a well greased loaf pan bake @ 350 for 45 min and send us all a slice of Almond pound cake.

I've never heard of using this on your hair. What is it supposed to do?

When I first saw this thread on new posts I thought this was in the cooking section.

I don't think you should open it. I think you should exchange it for some sweet almond oil. That's the good stuff.

Yes, almond extract is put in shampoos and conditioners and they claim that it is for moisturizing and conditioning purposes but It's in such small concentrations. Just exchange what you bought for sweet almond oil. HTH.
