I use it everytime a shampoo, dc, or cowash which is a few times a week. I use it with my Aphogee Green Tea & Keratin Restructurizer.

I haven't used it yet; however, Tracey informed me that it could be used weekly. I'm wondering, if you use it weekly, can you still use a mild protein during your weekly wash followed with a moisturizing deep conditioner or would this be too much protein?

For those of you who use a protein leave-in, do you also incorporate a mild protein into your weekly washes? If so, what’s your regimen? I use protein during one of my weekly washes and would like to try the Aphogee Provitamin Leave-in; however, I do not want protein overload.:nono:

I am a big fan of Aphogee leave in! First I pre-poo (I think I used that term right) with my Lustrasilk. Then I wash with the Aphogee shampoo. Next is the Aphogee 2 minute treatment. Than 10 minutes of Lustrasilk under the dryer. Than my Aphogee leave in. And starting Friday I am going to starting sealing with coconut oil! :) My hair LOVES protein!

After I wash my hair, I deep condition with ORS Mayo.(Which I hate noow), and Then I use the Aphogee Pro-vitamin leave in. My hair seems to like it. I do it once a week. Then after I rollerset.

so i guess it's seeming like using this several times weekly is ok. my hair seems fine and i guess we just have to go with what our hair likes

My hair is alot stronger with protein. I was wearing alot of bad weave for almost a year, and my hair would snap if you pulled it. Now every strand is strong and healthy with my protein. I love Aphogee!

I use it daily or every other day. I'm wearing braid extensions right now.
I use it daily because I saw it contains muccopolysacchrides (excuse spelling).

I was using both provitamin leave in and the green tea daily. That was before i knew they were both protein. Now i dont even use it anymore...But im going to start back to using it a couple of times per week.

I use it 2-3 times a week. I wash twice a week, and sometimes use it to spruce up my hair/ bring it back to life. The protein helps and does not overpower my hair.

Before this post I didn't realize it had protein in it. I use it everytime I co wash/wash/DC my hair, before my actual leave in conditioner (GVP The Conditioner). Thats like 2-3 times a week. After seeing this post I ran to it and read the ingredients. So it like a great protein/moisture balance for my hair. It don't bother my hair either.

I like it alot. I also use it, when I have frizzies and it help smooth it out. Im on my second bottle.

Is the Pro-Vitamin a cream or liquid leave in?

ETA: Disregard, I checked it out in Sally's today.

I use my Aphogee Leave-in mix only when I run out of my Infusium Mix :wallbash:. My hair loves protein :lick: but I'm not really fond of the Aphogee Leave-in :perplexed.

ITA in the bolded! The direction states that this lightweight conditioner can be used after shampoo or daily. It protects and prevents vital moisture loss.

I might just give this a try, I just bought the Green Tea spray and I love it so far :yep: I was thinking though that my hair needs something more, this may be it. Is it a creamy or liquidy consistency. I read on Sallys reviews that it would be better in a spray bottle :perplexed can someone elaborate?

TIA

I use this once a week on wet hair after my wash, protein treatment and DC. I bought a spray bottle to use with this.

Everyday on wet or dry hair. If I haven't washed that day, I use it on dry hair. Especially on my edges/sides instead of gel for smooth edges. :yep:

every dang day! it smooths my edges down nicely & makes them wavy. + i like that it has protein, my hair drinks up protein like a fish drinks in water
