Hits- AO hsr conditoner, Jessicurl too shea and weekly deep treat

Discovered hit- Using oil and water to seal instead of straight oil. I covered the bottom of a 3oz fine mist spray bottle with oil, Then added water leaving room to shake. This way gave me more coverage and i could go through out my hair and go from root to tip.:sweet:

hit: Herbal Essence Drama Clean conditioner

(it wasn't a major hit. but it didn't perform bad either. i don't know what its purpose was..but it was really light. and my hair felt like butter when i rinsed. good for a cowash when i don't want the feeling of a heavy cone. so its a keeper for now)

luuuuuv me some HE conditioenrs

Miss:

Silk Elements Regular Lye Relaxer -- I have been using this relaxer for the last 3 years and it has seriously thinned my hair to point that I feel bald. Now I am having to cut my thin hair and nurse my hair back to health. **sigh**

Hit - CON Sunflower and Coconut Shampoo. I haven't used CON for a while and was a bit hesitant when I saw this new formulation but I love it!!

Miss - Hair One Cleansing Conditioner in Olive Oil - nice to co wash with but it doesn't work any better than VO5 Strawberries and Cream. I wanted to like it but it was too heavy as a leave in and too expensive just to wash with.

Hits:
Smooth N Shine Silk Fusion Critical Repair Conditioner
Garnier Strength and Repair Mask
Garnier Length and Strength Shampoo
Aphogee Two Min Reconstructor (Before neutralizing relaxer and as prepoo on wash days)
GVP Silk Infusion

Misses:
John Frieda Secret Weapon (leaves hair hard and dry)
ORS Lye Relaxer (This is my second time using this relaxer and I think it is causing thinning. I think I'm going back to Revlon Realistic.)

miss: curl junkie hibiscus and banana honey butter leave in and coffe coco curl cream. when i get home im throwing these out. im tired of them making my curls hard and stiff.

hit: using curls milkshake as a leave in under kbb hair milk. my hair loves both of these.

on the fence: kccc. i like some qualities about this product but it has too much hold for me.

Hits:

Yes to Carrots Hair Mud Mask (smells sooo good and very moisturizing)
Naked Naturals Shea Butter and Avocado Conditioner (I'm really starting to love this brand)
David Babaii for Wild Aid Hydrating Con (great ingredients, mostly natural, super thick and moisturizing)

Yay, I picked this up on BOGO at Rite Aid.Hopefully I like it!

Miss: Being an idiot. I increased my protein AND shampooed at the last two washes. I don't know what i was thinking. I'm afraid all my hair is gonna break off after it dries. I may have to baggy for the next two days just to get my hair back to normal. I'm done experimenting. I'm just not good at it.

Hit: GVP Silk Infusion. I ran out of my Chi, so I figured I'd try out GVP version from Sally's. I was pleasantly surprised

Miss: Silk Elements no lye relaxer :nono:. My hair feels dry and I'm shedding more than normal....should have stuck with ORS relaxer.

Miss: quemet bio's Karkady Tea replenishing mist- way too oily, I don't like touching my hair and feeling residue, I've had it for a while but never used it till today.

Hi Charzboss !

Got that Millcreek on my List of things to buy. Did you steam with it? Or how did you use it.

I haven't steamed with it. I think it might be a little too thin for me to use as a dc. I like thick conditioners for my dcs. I am using it as a co-wash conditioner. I co-wash every morning, and it has all natural ingredients. That's what I am going for, all- natural ingredients!

I have the some of the other MillCreek Conditioners, Jojoba and Biotin. They are great as well as co-wash conditioners.

Ok. So, have you tried any of the Jason's, Abba, Beauty Without Cruelty, Giovanni or the Aubrey Organics?
