So i decided to get highlights! i love it

I got a new pic in my avatar and will try to post some more later. I got blondish, like number 27 highlights, it came out kinda nice. I also got a trim, so im still hoovering around brastrap, but i really like the glow it adds to my face.

I did, there is a girl at job, she puerto rican, but her is alway on point w/ the color. So i went to her stylist. I think she is so professional, she straighten, highlighted and trimmed for $75. I think that was a good deal. I will proably start going to her every few weeks for conditioning because i never dealt with color before.

Oh thanks girl! I attribute the thickness to taking the chlorella supplement, and my vitamin reggie, being natural and not really doing too much to manipulate it.

OH! and how could i forget- MEGATEK! i use it about every 2-3 wks for like 5-10 minutes but it strenghtens my hair, it barely breaks off, so that too.

You know, i really didn't know how they would come out either, the stylist was so sweet, she really is a professional, i told her i want something to compliment my skin tone, not too light, i forgot my hair magazine, but she knew what she was doing, so if you are in the tampa bay area, check out studio 8850- jennifer!

I actually did get highlights done when i was relaxed and hated it, it wasn't even as light but still my hair broke off bad, and my one of my brother's said i looked like a pumpkin head! Lol, thats really when i went natural and bc ( really it happened like that, all in the same day). I really didn't take good care of my relaxed hair to begin with.


Anyways, i had wanted to try color before, so im glad i gave it another chance, i have been using vatika oil daily, and just wrapping it at night.

Girl,not u, im just saying, some girls have been eyeballing me like crazy at work, i had to back 1 of them off of me, i guess she just wasn't sure if it was me, i think she wanted 2 weave check me so bad... Anyways alot ppl that see me on a daily basis are really stunned,they usually see me in a bun, so they think i look a new person, oh and the men at mall, dont even get me started... ;-)

I am not conceded either, this chick got all in face when i was trying to walk down the hall to my desk, didn't say nothing either, basically blocked my walkway so she could starre at me, i just was stunned and moved around so i could k.i.m, the 1st day after i got i done, i though it must have looked bad,because everyone looked and didn't say anything except like an old white lady, i really felt self concious like maybe i made a mistake, but i when't to the mall, i found i was looking good, and i know the hair made the difference. lol i talk too much ;p
