Is flat ironing the only way? How do rollersets turn out on texlaxed hair?

I am a texlaxer who has not used direct heat in over 3 years. To straighten, I rollerset on gray (2") rollers, bonnet dry/airdry, remove rollers, then either crosswrap or wrap ends around a gray roller, then tie down with a silk scarf. Here are a couple of pics to show degree of "straightness":

GORGEOUS!Thanks for sharing your pictures! One day I will have to get over my bad experience with self-rollersetting and try this!
Anyways 99.99999% of the time. I pull my hair back into a wet bun, apply my leave ins, put on a scarf and sit under my dryer for 30 minutes. This leaves my hair straight, not bone straight or anything, but style-able.

Prospurr- I am drooling over your hair- good Lawd, I just love it. I am texlaxed and rarely use a flat iron. Roller sets come out gorgeous on texlaxed hair.

When I am not feeling so lazy I will roller set, or an occasional twistout.
Here are some of the many styles I wear:

Shay since you can't roller set- have you tried a pony tail roller set? Those are a lot easier than reg roller setting.
Aggie you are more than welcome- you have helped me so many times with my hair.
I forgot to mention that I do gel my edges down before I put my scarf on too. I use the green Fantasia one because it has no alcohol.
Shay I know exactly what you mean- I am at the same point where I feel like I really have a handle on my hair and try some new stuff.
Here is a link for a ponytail roller set that our Sparkling Flame did

Thanks for mentioning the gel - I do have that one handy too, thank goodness.

Seriously Prospurr, you really have to do a video tutorial on this and also on how you texlax your hair and personally let me know about it via a PM or in my fotki, okay. By the way, did you ever cut off your bone straight relaxed hair when you decided to texlax your hair? I'm stuck at cross roads because I don't know what to do now.
I have about 1.5" of texlaxed hair and 1' of new growth. I don't know if it's best I cut off the bone straight hair now or wait until I have another 2-3 more inches of new growth before I cut it. Hmmm, that will take me into about October or November. What do you suggest, seeing that you are so much farther along in your texlax journey? You and Sareca are my texlax gurus right now and I need some help.
ETA: What on earth, pray tell, is cross wrap?
