Only one I've used is Lacio Lacio and I'm still using that. It gives great shine, and it's prefect for when I straighten.

I just started using Lacio Lacio. I put it in my hair after cowash last night and my hair was super soft.

Once in a while MILK and HONEY or SILICON MIX for a full bodied effect. I don't use them often anymore since my relaxed hair is now the lesser part of my hair. I still like SALERM leave-in..most effective of my Dom. products. Dominican usage product is still KUZ from Italy.

I just tried the silicon line with the pearl on my natural hair and it was nice! hair has been soft all week.

I LOVE Lacio Lacio! Haven't tried it in awhile but boy oh boy I used that until it was nothing left in the bottle turned upside down. Im going to order some when I take my twists out. I also want to try this Silcon Mix everyone keeps talking about.

I do.

Silicon Mix DC (regular)
This is one of my favorites, leaves my hair soft; the smell is a little strong & "chemically"
Silicon Mix DC (proteina de perla)
Smell is better, more protein, but my hair still feels super-soft
Silicon Mix leave-in
I use this for flat-ironing
Lacio Lacio leave-in
I use this as a leave-in or for daily water-based moisture
Alter Ego hot oil garlic treatment (love this stuff!)
Wonderful - very pricey, but the BEST DC I have tried.
Alter Ego Cren (just got this product)
Supposed to stop shedding. I don't shed that much, but the PJ in me wanted to try it.
Alter Ego Linseed Oil Shampoo
Kind of drying and way over-priced.
*Alter Ego is Italian, but used by Dominicans*

I think that's it....at the salons I go to, they use Salerm 21 leave in.

I think I'm going to have to get this when I start doing roller sets and straightening my hair. I have heard nothing but good review on this product :yep:

HHHmmm I have never used any Dominican Products... but i have heard all good things about the following...
-Lacio Lacio
-Silicon Mix
-Alter Ego

If I did not already have a bunch of other products i would have already ordered... will wait for the stock to diminish then i will buy !!!

Lacio Lacio everyday as a leave in. Lacio w/water as a setting lotion. Alter Ego Garlic as a DC. Love them all!

I use Lacio Lacio and Salerm 21 as leave ins.

Just got Silicon Mix (DC, Leave in, and Hydrant Shampoo) and so far so good!

Lacio Lacio is my fav leave-in for braidouts. I use it to moisturize my braidouts too. I'm going to try Silicon Mix soon.

I am loving the silicon mix. I mix it with Hairveda's Sitrinillah and dc on dry hair. Love it. I want to try the pearl version. But I have to use up my current stash before I buy something else. (Except Moroccan Oil)

Lacio Lacio is great. I use it in my rollerset mix. Water, Lacio Lacio, evoo, glycerin and a touch of Motions foam lotion.

Miss Key and Silicon Mix are 2 of my favorite DC's and stay in constant rotation. I've also started using the Silicon Mix leave-in and I really like it.

I love my 60 oz jar of Silicon Mix and its counterpart leave-in conditioner :D

ETA: I also use Tropical Milk Protein Conditioner. That stuff is the bomb and has a clean scent. Smells better than SI.

Lacio Lacio:

Directions: Apply evenly on wet hair and leave it on, style as usual.

Ingredients: Water, Methylciclopolyslloxane, Dimethylpolysiloxane, Alcohol Graso C14-C18, Cetrimonium Chloride, (Quaternium 79) Hidrolized Wheat Protein, Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Fragrance, DMDM Hidantoine, Methylchlorisothiazolinone/Methylisothiazolinone.

Made in the Dominican Republic by Star Products, S.A.

i find the consistency to be bit on the thin side...kinda watery, which is great for roller sets. but it gives me great shine and bounce without it weighing down my hair.

i don't use salerm but i have heard great things about it. couldn't find the ingredients on sickbay. sowwie.

:waves:

I do! I use the Cinnamon Conditioner, Lacio, Lacio and I just brought AlterEgo Hot Oil Treatment it was on sale on sickbay - I can't wait to use it!

I know I posted in this thread but I had to say it again:

I used Silicon Mix Conditioner immediately after rinsing out my relaxer yesterday and my hair felt like silk, even after rinsing and shampooing. Love Dominican stuff.
