Does anyone have pics of your hair styled with micro's in the front and tracks...

Well, I research this a few months ago after meeting a lady that had a style like this. It looked like all braids. I was surprise when she told be it was a weave in the middle. She had the entire perimeter in braids.

One thing I hate about braids is how long it take to finish them and to remove them. I also hate that I have to maintain the hair that is left out in weave, and would prefer the braids when it comes to working out and everything.

I think I would try this.

Here is one site that I found:

Wow, I love this look. I just removed my micro and that's a nice look. Now, their braids in the front and also crownrows in the back to sew in the weave.

I don't have any pics. But, I have had it before and it looked really nice. I think you'll really like it and it doesn't takes as long as a whole head of micros.

yes ladies, I think I am going to go for it next week, I just have to find a good stylist.. thanks for the links!

my siggy.
around my head is micros so I can pull it up to a ponytail.
and the middle is tracks.
I like it because it isnt as time consuming as micros all around
but it is a bit annoying to get in between the tracks.
This style lasted for 3 weeks( I missed my TWA)
now im working on a self installment of kinky twists!
more pics in my fotki

I just got this style done maybe 2 weeks ago here are my pics. But instead of just the front I got the perimeter of my whole head so I could put it up.

Oh and it was also cheaper for me cause I got my friend to sew in the middle for $20, cause the africans wanted to charge me $180 to do the sew-in plus the braids. I ended up going to another lady and just paying $80.

I had tree braids in the front before and weave sewn in the back. It looked like the whole thing was braided. I'll see if I can find a picture. I didn't particularly care for the colors she used though. It was for a hair photo shoot so I didn't have a say but it was free.

Sorry if too big. The hair on the tracks were synthetic and $9.99 a pack (12 inch). I kept them in for 6-7 weeks.

Oh and I just used 2 packs of track hair and got regular braiding hair for the front, $1.99 for that

How did you maintain the style? I see a lot of African women sporting this style. They look so good with it.

Ooh nice. I just found my hairstyle for vacation. I hate getting braids all over when i'm going to the beach. they get too messy too quickly and i just end up taking them out after a week. I wanted to get a weave anyway, but i like this look.

I really like the pre-braided weave hair! Where can you buy it, and how much was it? Inquiring minds want to know :detective:

I forgot the brand name, but ask one of the girls at your BSS. Down here they keep the human hair behind the counter with them and the synthetic hair on the floor. But I'm sure depending on your area the cost may vary.

I would ONLY go with human hair if you plan on reusing it again, you can do that. Just wash it a bit and it looks brand new. I don't really care for sew ins so I just went with the $10 pack

I want to do this style with Wet & Wavy hair but my hair is shoulder length and therefore too long to braid in front. Meaning by the time I braid the hair for the micros past my own hair, there would be no hair left at the ends to wave up. Does anyone have a solution for how I can still achieve this style (similar to Adrianna's on youtube) even though my hair is longer?

you can get tree braids. even though your hair is long, they will pull the wet/wavy hair out as they braid so that your longer braid is somewhat covered.

Thanks so much for saying this. I had no idea what a tree braid was so I watched a couple of youtube videos and I think this may be the answer! OMG thanks!
