Ok I'm done
She was very nice ... My hair is light and bouncy.
She used a cool blowdryer and slightly bumped it. I'm going back next week for a hair mask treatment. The clipping my ends. I need to clip almost an inch :(
I'm sad but it looks bad so I need to suck it up and do it for the health of my hair.

Details, more details! Did you go to a teaching salon or the real thing? What treatment are you going to have done next week? Have you done it before? What were the results? I use phyto - do you know if they'll use my relaxer if I bring it with me?

Don't worry about about the much needed trim - after you do it, your ends look like they're going to be thick and healthy - that's the very best thing.

I went to the teaching school.... I paid $50.00

A white girl did my hair.... well she based it.... did a prety good job at basing my scalp. I didn't get any burns. A black girl came to help her and each one did a half of my head...(lol) It went pretty quickly sine they were working together.

Anyways Krystin (white girl) did everything else. She was pretty nice. I mentioned that my hair broke off at the back and she suggested prenatal vitamins to help speed up growth. She also suggested something which pretty much sounds like the baggy method for my ends.

She was good with detangling my hair.... no pulling or tugging. She gave me a nice head massage too. I enjoyed the experience and I've already made my next appointment.

I'm going to do a Dry RemedyTM Moisturizing Treatment Masque

Thanks - I have Good Friday off and have been thinking about having a pampering day. Going to the Aveda Salon is a great idea. I'm a little skitish about having a student relax my hair, but I think I'll call and see what they have to say.

I'm glad you had a good salon experience and thanks for a great idea.

I found the students so much more careful than the so called "pros" who just throw relaxer on your hair. Plus the instructors monitor them constantly. Also after your service is over the instructor asks you to rate what the student did.

Don't worry about the trim, you hair will look alot thicker and grow back.

I just got a trim and I feel like I have a new head of hair.
