I did it myself! AND it was done on week-old hair!

Ladies it was so simple. I just used this updo comb thingy from Icing. It was kind of like a pic without the handle. I used it to poof up the top part of my hair. Then I just did small pincurls all around the comb attachement and around the center back part of my head. I used those little rhinestone bobby pin things you can get from Claire's or Icing and placed them at certain places.

Sprayed with hair spray then oil spray to keep it in place and used gel and a scarf to get my edges to lay down. It only took about 45 minutes!

LOL edit - shows you how well I read threads with pictures in them :lachen:. I've seen those decorate bobbypins, even have a few but found my hair keeps getting trapped in the decorative part :(

yeah, your hair can be tangled if you aren't careful. I don't have nearly as much hair as you do so I didn't have that problem so much but I see what you mean.

I used the ones that are actual bobby pins, not the ones that do that weird spiral. And then also, since it's only for a special occasion, a few tangles here and there aren't that bad!
