Those products definitely look interesting. I'm loving those ingredients. I might have to try this line out one day.

I've been ignoring the online ad about this line, and I just had to open this thread. I am seriously turning into a PJ, lol. These products seem really good and I am very tempted in purchasing the complete collection. I currently use Mane N Tail's shampoos and conditioners, but their ingredients compared to Ebony of Essence...I think I may end up purchasing it. And I just purchased shampoo from Carol's Daughter that I have yet to try.

I really need to stop, but I just can't help myself. My SO already thinks I'm crazy, lol.

That Leave-In has nice ingredients... and it says it's moisturizing...

I've been looking for a good moisturizing leave-in... I hope some who've used this chime in soon with reviews...

Girl I thought you said Ebony OR Essence. I was about to give Essence my vote. :lachen:

Ooohkaaay.... :ha:

I sent a message to Calihair 2007, who posted last April saying she received the complete set. She never gave an update so hopefully she'll reply and tell all!

I tried a google search in hopes of finding some reviews on this line but nothing came up at first. However, after multiple tries I finally found a review on youtube. The woman reviewing the product is natural, but gives a general review of the product before she used it and also gives a review on her results. You can find it here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hyAik1GEgkY (FYI-this is part 2 of her review that gives her results)

I've only been able to watch 3 minutes of her review so far as my internet connection is extremely slow, but it seems as though it is a thorough and positive review of the line. She ordered the complete collection. Hope this helps:)

I don't understand why the model has to wear a lacefront wig to advertise an all natural hair care product.:ohwell:

But she is also airbrushed to high hell.

I wish I had known about these when I was looking for a leave in. That one looks good.

I am using Komaza Care's Shea Butter hair lotion now, and it is great. But I think it is overmoisturizing my hair. :look:

Well ladies...Calihair 2007 responded, and this is what she said:

Ebony of Essence review:

Pro-smells delish
Cons-dried my hair out
made my hair shed
made my hair hard

the shampoo-tangled & stripped my hair
the conditioner- tangeled and left a film on my hair
the whipped butter-dried my hair
the leave in- made my hair hard but is a great moisturizer
for the skin

I really wanted this to work as I bought the combo package at once. I can't till this day get over how great they all smell, but unfortunately that's all it had going for itself.

Thanks for asking what I thought about it.

I should have known it was too good to be true, especially since the products have been out for some time and no one here has raved about them!! :nono:

I was browsing through the posts and I saw ebony of essence and I thought i would see what was being said.....it was reccomended to me by a friend not too long ago. I"m not sure when cali hair 2007 used it but I used it pretty recently.

Here is my review:

Pros: It did smell good (vanilla icing), The cream shampoo, conditioner and leave-in were actually very moisturizing, I am about 14 weeks post relaxer and the butter is helping me stretch, it makes my new growth really soft (I'm going for 20 weeks! say a prayer please).

Cons: The conditioner is alot thinner then I would like it to be but it works, I'm not use to the texture of the cream shampoo, but my hair did feel clean and was easy to comb after using it.

Also I'm a relaxed 4a if that makes any difference.

Thanks for posting this review. I wonder if the glycerin caused the dryness? That's what I'm afraid of - it looks like glycerin is in both the leave in & shea butter...

I don't know -- I'm going to wait for a few more reviews before deciding on making a purchase:perplexed

That's EXACTLY what I was thinking...was searching to see if anyone had said this lol lol. That alone killed any curiousity.
