Does anyone have any experience using these products (shampoo and conditioner)? If so, how do you like them? I would like to try them, but want review first.

Thanks!!

I use the dry remedy conditioner . In my opinion, it's not what I expected for the price (I'm trying to finish up the bottle so it won't go to waste). I find that other moisturizing conditioners work just as well if not better for less the price...

Personally, I am not impressed at all with the cond. Aubrey Organics is much better to me. But I must comment on the DR shampoo! When I first used the shampoo it felt as though I used a fantastic cond. That shampoo made my hair feel so different but in a good way. Gave me lots of slip but also felt so moist. and soft! IMO that is the best shampoo I have ever used! And I'm talking ever!!!!!!:yep:

I have the conditioner...Aveda Damage IRT does a better job at moisturizing my hair then does the Dry Remedy. I'm in the process of returning it.

i've never tried dry remedy. only damage remedy, but don't waste your money on aveda. i've tried a few other products from them. They were mildly impressive, but nothing wowed me. i moved on to better for cheaper.

I'm an Aveda stan but Dry Remedy left me cold. It's decent but not worth the price. Damage Remedy is a much better line. :yep:

Good looking out ladies. I was in the Aveda store this evening and was mentally calculating how much all that stuff was going to cost. I told the lady I had to go online and see what other people said first.

Thank you for allowing me to not waste my money.

I have the dry remedy poo, condish, and mask. i really like the poo and condish but the mask is not that great IMO.

I am not a fan. Both the shampoo and conditioner were overpriced and under moisturized. It was such a waste of money. After using both products and waiting until after my hair dry, I knew I needed to jump back in the shower and use my staple products to get the results I wanted. Luckily, they never let me down :yep:

I think Aveda is worth it. It may be pricey, but it really doesn't take much of the product for it to do its job. Its lasts me for several months. You get what you pay for, you just have to get the right line for you. So instead of buying the full size bottles buy the travel sized bottles to begin with ($3-$5) and then when you find your line, get bigger bottles. Case and point, I recently bought Kenra MC, I tried using the same amount I would use with Aveda and ORS and it did nothing for my hair, the second time I used A LOT more product and it worked great. I will run out of the $14 bottle of Kenra a LOT faster than the $20 bottle of Aveda that has the same amount of product. As I said, you get what you pay for.

I like the shampoo and the masque, I find them both very moisturising, and you do get a lot of use out of them because the product is very concentrated. I'm just about to run out of both; I was going to re-purchase, but perhaps I'll give the Damage Remedy line a try instead.

Love aveda also... I agree with the above you get what you pay for... I use the aveda damage remedy line and it has changed my hair...I hope u find a product that works for you!

I am a HUGE Aveda product fan. Back in 2006 when I struggling with dryness and breakage, Aveda Damage Remedy Treatment put an end to the problem. Now 3 years later, my hair is the longest and healthiest its ever been; I haven't had a problem with breakage since. And I use heat on the regular on my natural textured hair.
I rotate between: Damage Remedy, Dry Remedy, Brilliant, and Smooth Infusion lines.

My only small grumble is the lack of lather in the shampoo, but I realise this is due to product containing no sulphates. However, I sometimes feel I'm not getting as good a wash as I should be.

Remember, the more suds the more oil that is being stripped from your scalp and hair strands!:nono:

Thanks ladies, great posts. I already use the Damage Remedy line, after these reviews, I think I'll stick with it. I love the conditioner. I may, because of some of the reviews, try the Dry Remedy shampoo. I'm still in search of a good moisturizing shampoo.

Thanks for all the responses. They have all been helpful.

I use the DR (damage remedy) Intensive Restructuring Treatment and I love it. Gives me major slip and it's been a true blessing.

I was at an aveda store last week looking at shampoos. I was comparing the dry and damage remedy shampoos when the sales associated offered me free samples! She actually gave me a little bottle of the shampoos and conditioners for damage and dry remedy lines.

Today I'm going to try the Dry Remedy Shampoo and follow with my usual products and see how it goes :)
