I have a spray moisturizer that I use daily & a creamy one that I use right after pooing or when my hair is extremely dry. Those are the only ones...until my PJism sets in.

It is my understanding that you can only get one on virgin hair or hair that already has been processed with some type of curly perm. You can't put a curly perm over a relaxer as far as I know.

Wow, I've never heard of a curly perm for African American hair. Looks pretty good!

It's a modern day jheri curl. I just hate to use the term b/c of the negative images of the past.

For now I'm following the recommendation of my stylist & using the Wave By Design/Design Essentials line exclusively. I have to wait 7 days before I can shampoo it for the 1st time. I will shampoo once a week w/Design Essentials moisturizing poo. If I need to wash my hair more than that during the week, it will be a co-wash. With my poo wash, I will follow w/a moisturizing DC from DE. I will follow the DC with the WBD dry finishing lotion. I will only use this after poos unless my hair becomes extremely dry during the week. Daily I will spritz my hair with the WBD Dry Finishing Spray. Some nights I will spritz my hair w/this & baggy overnight 4 add'l moisture. I will be reviewing the products & my routine on the blog after I've had the curl for at least a month.

The curly perm looks great on you and I like the way the curls hang. I'm glad this turned out so well for you as I know you did a lot of research.
