Twist on the weekends, wear twists for as long as you can stand it; twist out and start all over again. Seriously you can approach simplicity many ways...it all depends on what you are ultimately trying to achieve with your hair.
Some ladies will say wash n go everyday...

I second this. I like wash n go's because they are simple and take maybe 5 minutes to do.

It could actually be a good thing, Less is more with this hair care thing, wash and deep condition on the weekends, moisturize as often as You wish and repeat on the weekends. The less You touch, the more You preserve.

I wear a side puff almost everyday to work because it takes me like 5 minutes to do. I am also thinking about getting a half wig and that will be a really quick style. Also you can do a flat twist updo and leave some hair out in the front and the sides. Check out my avator picture. That style last for about a week because I have to wash my hair at least once a week.

If you work, you'll definitely have to become a "weekend girl." If I don't do my hair on the weekend, it's not getting done unless I go to the salon on a Thurs. night (which is only for a relaxer). Once a week washing, DCing and rollersetting has worked well for me, and Ihope it does for you too. :-)

You've received some great advice. What I'll add to the pot is invest in some hair accessories, such as hair clips and head bands, to help stretch your styles. Also, you can re-do the braids or twists around your hair line to give you the appearance of a fresh style.
